Republic Droid Side Mod replaces the Battlefront 2 stock Republic sides with BLUE DROID UNITS but with the same weapons the original Republic units had. Too bad the heroes did not get replaced with droid heroes. I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR MAKING THIS SIDE MOD. ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE ORIGINAL MODDER.

This Mod changes the republic side's units into battle droids.
The side mod does work for campaign and conquest. (For the Empire vs Republic as well)
NOTE: The repshell.lvl is optional. It includes a few changes to the side.
-New award sniper rifle
-Swapping of the recon droid and auto turret

Installation:
Step 1: Open up (1) = CD Version of the game (2) = Steam Version of the game
(1) C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC\SIDE
(2) C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC\SIDE
Step2: Backup rep.lvl and repshell.lvl to a safe location.
Step3: Go to your downloads and extract RepublicDroids_v1.0.zip
Step4: cut rep.lvl and repshell.lvl from the extracted folder
Step5: Open up (1) or (2) and paste it
Step6: Run the game and enjoy your new Republic side!
