Q: How do I use the cheat codes?
A: After you start a game, press enter and type the cheat code in the chat window that pops up, and then press enter again.

Q: How to patch version 1.0 of Tzar?
A: To apply the latest Tzar patch when you have version 1.0 you need to:

1. Download the patch from version 1.0 to version 1.01 and run it
2. Run Tzar and when you reach the main menu click quit. (this step is required)
3. You can apply any later patch that requires version 1.01 including the version 1.09 patch

Q: What if I want to play behind a firewall or proxy?
A: Unfortunately Tzar does not support multiplayer games behind a firewall or proxy.

Q: What are the ports of the game?
A:

1. PORT1 = 23077
2. PORT2 = 23078
3. PORT3 = 23079

Q: Do you intend to release a Macintosh version of the game?
A: It is currently being ported by third party developers

Q: Sometimes, when I play multiplayer games I receive "Game out of synchronization error"
A: Unfortunately it may happen sometimes. We will address this in our first patch.

Q: Is the game too hard or I'm doing something wrong?
A: We designed TZAR to be a hard game. AI doesn't cheat and it's still one of the most challenging AIs available. The main goal was to make TZAR a good game even for experienced players. To newbies we suggest to play against small number of opponents on easy level. To be a good player you have to know very well the game mechanics, technologies and most important - unit bonuses.

Q: I can't find information on unit bonuses somewhere?
A: We made a file which contains the needed information. Download it from the "Downloads" section

Q: I have slowdown problems.
A: It may happen if you have wrong drivers. Try to update your drivers with their latest versions. If this doesn't help try to turn off the DirectX usage from Setup program.

Q: How can I rotate gates and bridges?
A: While dragging them press Alt and/or Control keys.

Q: Can I ask the creators of the game anything I want to know?
A: Yes you can, go ahead!

Q: Is Tzar a Realtime strategy?
A: Yes it is - the best one with RPG elements.

Q: Can the units carry items?
A: Yes, they can.

Q: Is the TZAR using Dirct3D or OpenGL
A: No, TZAR isn't using such kind of things.
