Ever wanted to join the SS? Let's be honest, who hasn't. Well you still can't, but you can kill a bunch of them, which is the next best thing. Right?

This time around, I've decided to focus on scenarios about the SS, at least in the name. Let me tell you, there were surprisingly few.

SS Head Quarters 5.0 is a six-map proof of concept by and unknwon author, for the First Encounter. I say "proof of concept" because, despite the version claiming to be 5.0, there's a lot of stuff clearly left unfinished. Many doors lead to entirely empty rooms and one of the maps can't be finished (there's the elevator wall, but not the object). Curiously, there's also a two-item gap in the floor numbering, jumping from 1-5 straight to 1-8. I have no idea if an other versions of the mod were ever released, and this one feels like there was potential for so much more.

SS Totenkopf is a rather different beast. There's a readme attached, mostly talking about difficulty levels and cheating and whatnow. Slightly more interesting is the storyline: you're breaking out of prison, through guard quarets and mess hall. What lies ahead is an SS training centre, plus some bigwig carrying orders straight from the Fuhrer himself, though in fact he's just another Hans clone. True to the storyline, you'll be figthing mostly guards in the (tightly designed) first map, then stuff opens up as more SS and their Hans overseers join the fray. Three maps in total.
