Description

Because I couldn't find a version of Call of Chernobyl that I liked and worked well I built one that runs fast and has the most useful mods installed.

I tried but I failed, no one has yet managed to adapt these DoctorX mods to version 1.5 R7 x64. Too bad, because they are exactly what this game needs.

Is the stamina suppose to be undrained because when i was semi encumbered and sprinting i dont reduce the stamina. It reduced only if i jump but not sprinting

Awesome mod. Probably one of my favorite mods of all time. The only issues are that some stashes like one in south east of agroprom can crash your game. That questline and dynamic faction would have been super cool tho. There's also unli sprint until you get full over encumbered. I am curious how to edit the stamina to make the game harder. Cuz you can just haul a lot of guns and make money.

EDIT AT 2-3-2023: Played some more in the past week or so. beaten it on normal, and about to finish it on realistic. Still very awesome, graphics, gameplay, and all. but there's still pressing issues. Shotguns are really op. they are realistic, I know, but there's a shotgun you can get from trader (nimble in cordon) for some 47k rubles that is easy to get by just shooting zombies using double barrel then gettin their guns n artifacts (which may or may not be busted, but still alot of price on all artifacts) when you get the strong shotgun, the huntsman, is really strong with accuracy rivaling assault rifles using nothing but dirt cheap buckshot and kill any big mutants in 5 shots or under, decent reload rate, and the weight of the gun and buckshot are countered by op artifacts. Not only huntsman is very strong, but nimble's other black market guns are op but some are balanced (tide and lynx are expensive ammo, gun, and upgrades, but the 5.45 ots 14, and fn2000 are relatively cheap). The sprint is not that issue anymore cuz you only get that if you have full hunger. But then you can get a "film" artifact or another one to just eliminate hunger so you just unlisprint.

TL;DR: Wish there's no nimble option (apart from refraining to use nimble lol but he's a iconic npc) or to nerf nimble by having to do a really hard task to unlock trade and jack up prices for the weapons . Heart of oasis is super op no cap and really easy to get. Just hope to make it harder to get. (50kg carry weight, -10 rads, a lot of health regen) also IDK if my ammo management is good, But even on realistic and slow slow pace, I still get a good amount of ammo. The only way to have difficulty than realistic is ironman mode which it has but I am ultra paranoid of stalker moment of random crashing or dying to something very random so I stick with campfire mode in this mod where you can only save in campfires which is an awesome way to save. Despite what I all said, Try out this great version of an already good mod.

This mod is amazing, and is a really good functioning 64 bit game that has ported over quite a few mods and has a number of excellent AI tweaks I absolutely love, it's likely my favorite version of all the CoC mods, which by itself is one of my favorite mods ever. I'm editing it myself and plan to release a version with even better graphics, but it will not be optimized for computers to play on at all and with a few of my own tweaks. It has numerous HD models and textures and shaders which make it look amazing.

However, there are a number of crashes issues. First of all, it crashes whenever an enemy is wounded, which was fixed by adding in a script from DrX's mod which was referencing, or drx_ql_force_wounded.script . Second, the names of outfits were changed, and so I had to basically rewrite items to become that item for the outfit marauder mod, which was the case for the novice clear sky and freedom outfits. Basically what I did was, I made new items with exactly the same features with simply with the name change so it would spawn in correctly.

Although I managed to fix MOST the crashing bugs, there is one that I haven't been able to fix, which is that companions seem to unfollow you when you restart a new map or change a level. I have no idea why this is happening, my only guess is that there's some script from another mod that isn't all the way there like drx_ql_force_wounded, OR it has something to do with a difference display UI, but the thing is, I had the problem from the beginning. Basically if you try to have companions, they always unfollow you. I have no idea why this happens. And further it is one of the best things about 1.5 coc, so it's kind of a bummer.

I have fixed all of these issues and I have made my own mod based on this one, called Chernobyl Ragnarok. I have yet to actually add in the Ragnarok faction. Basically I managed to find the missing Dr. X scripts which makes sense as he tried to add these quests but failed, actually similar to me. My new plan is not to try to add his exact quests but just something similar to Dr. X. I will make a patch for this particular game solving those issues soon. You can in theory just copy my config and script files from my Chernobyl Ragnarok mod BUT it will change weapon stats and it's a good idea to prevent that.
