Desert Showdown by froshthewookie is another Tatooine based map but this map in particular has a customized mini map and some switched out Battlefront 1 Clone Units you should all remember well. Installation: Copy the folder SHO into the LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront II/GameData/addon directory.

Story: Rebels/Republic make an evasive maneuver during a battle over Tatooine, which causes a major system failure. The fleet crash lands on Tatooine, where the survivors have to fight their way to freedom. But the Empire/CIS isn't the only problem; the once peaceful moisture farming region in which they land has been overrun by vicious Tusken Raiders and the most unfriendly Jawas one would ever care to meet.

Game Modes: This map includes Conquest and Capture the Flag modes for both eras. I will add more if requested.

Note: I used all stock objects and textures, drawing heavily from BF1's Dune Sea map and BF2's Mos Eisley map. There were a few rock formations I stole from other maps and reskinned using Tatooine's rock textures. I also reskinned R2D2 to make the red astromech droids you see roaming around the battlefield.

This is the first map I've ever completed for any game. It's a fairly wide open area, but the creative will find no lack of hiding places. As a bonus, I added Tatooine Luke Skywalker as the Rebel hero.

Known issues: Tatooine Luke's lightsaber appears as jdi_weap_demo_saber in the character select screen. If anyone else discovers anything, just drop me an email.
