A new set of armor by AlienSlof. See pics for the best description.

This started life as a conversion of Biu's Giger armour for his body (BAB), which was female only, but ended up becoming more of a remodelling job with completely new textures. Most of the meshes have been considerably remodelled by me, some are completely new, also by me. Many pieces have new uv maps and the whole thing has new textures. For quite a long time I have wanted this, but no one seemed willing to take on making a male version - so I made my own!
Many who know me, or know of me, are aware that I am a long-time fan of H.R. Giger's art and especially his Aliens. It was only a matter of time before I turned my newly-gained modelling skills (what I have of them!) to something based on Giger's Aliens. As a result this is much more elaborate than the original female-only one. I used many of the physical models from my large Aliens collection for reference as I made the models and textures. Despite the detailed nature of the project, I had the advantage of familiarity with Alien anatomy and Giger's work, and difficulties were surprisingly few overall.
The armour is available to buy from Maro Rufus in the Best Defense in the Imperial City Market district. I have also left the test chest in the Testinghall for those who just want to try out the new stuff. It's slightly better and more expensive than mithril armour, so nothing 'uber' or overpriced. There are several variants: one that shows skin and a full-covering one. Both sets come with a variety of optional extras, including a version without the back-tubes, optional writsblades and tail. Eventually I plan to add a couple of helms, one showing the face and one made to look like an Alien head. I may also make a shield and a couple of Giger-themed weapons for it. All items have unique matching ground meshes as well as icons.
Like most of my work, this is male-only, made with Robert's v4 muscular body meshes. I have no plans to make them for any other body. They should work fine with the v3 body as well, since the texture map hasn't changed a great deal.
Some meshes adapted by me from Biu's BAB version, the rest are new meshes made by me.
I would like to thank the following people for their wonderful Blender tutorials which have helped me out enormously:
SickleYield
Kikaimegami
Jclyde
Also Sen-Chan, Kikaimegami and XMarksTheSpot for putting up with my noob questions on rigging and uv-mapping! Big thanks to XMarksTheSpot for helping me with the wristblade.
I'd also like to thank BlackDragon66 and the delectable Legion for playtesting and letting me use some of his screenies.
