This mod adds blood stains to you clothes/armor as you take damage.
This is a mod inspired by 'A Bloody Mess'. Back when it was in beta, I was poking through the scripts trying to troubleshoot a few issues the author was having. I started tweaking and eventually overhauling the mod for personal interests.
YABM focuses on just character health, as well as being a bit more suddle. If you want blood splatters from combat, then stick with Bloody Mess.
There are 4 levels of health the script uses.
Level 1 (76-100% HP) - healthy, no visual change. Blood stains from higher levels will gradually fade away after about 30 seconds.
Level 2 (51-75% HP) - slightly injured. Some wounds will gradually start staining on parts of your equipment over the course of about 30 seconds. Just fainted red splotches.
Level 3 (26-50% HP) - the faint red splotches gradually bleed into a more vivid red.
Level 4 (0-25% HP) - the blood stains soak the equipment and will start dripping slightly, and the character will use an injured idle animation (optional).
The mod is powered by using a series of shaders. Each shader is set to be a smooth transition from any level. There are 2 versions.
CT-YABM.esp - has all features mentioned above.
CT-YABM - No Idle.esp - removes the injured idle animation from kicking in
(this is available because the idle useage is a bit buggy it seems).

2. Version History

v0.9 - initial release. Stuck trying to figure out how to get idle animations
to work flawlessly...

3. Installation / Playing the Plugin
*****************************************************************
To install, extract all the files to your data direcotry. Depending
upon your installation, it's usually located here:
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data
Then enable the .esp file with the Oblivion Launcher.
The mod comes in two versions, as mentioned earlier:
CT-YABM.esp - has all features.
CT-YABM - No Idle.esp - removes the injured idle animation from kicking in
(this is available because the idle useage is a bit buggy it seems).

4. Save Games
*****************************************************************
The plugin should not invalidate your old saved games. But I make no guarantee, like when using any new plugin, it is highly recommended that you make a backup of your saved game.

5. Known Issues / Conflicts
*****************************************************************
I'm not sure how well the blood drip particle emitter will work on other computers. Its possible that other computers might render the particles differently. This is why its not a 1.0 release yet.
Level 4 injury idle animation won't cancel if health has risen to a higher level. The animational also won't cancel if you get on a horse or go swimming.
Also, as this is a background script which monitors your health, there could potentially be a performance hit on slower computers.
As for conlicts, this mod only adds effects and has a script to trigger them, so conflicts should be pretty minimal. Only other mods which try to add persistant shaders to the player might have some issues, such as Bloody Mess.
