There's this cool mod resource by mindboggles. I wanted to make a companion out of it but rather just replaced Rex because now I have a reason to have him around, a barking hand that everyone treats like a dog and that needs a replacement brain.
That's the whole story.
Also, the TV show sucked. But was kind of awesome. Until it sucked. Still kind of awesome, even if it sucks. Credits to Mindboggles for the initial model.
