The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
You know, guys, I once started my journey in anomaly-modding with the Work Tool Addon, which gave the player the opportunity to use tools from a backpack without a workbench. Now, almost 4 years later, I present to your attention my vision of Anomaly in the Anomaly Vanillin Edition (A.V.E.) version 1.5. I released it, admittedly, a year and a half ago, but it only reached the English-speaking community in a completed release version and translated (machine) into ENG today (i’m still finishing the translation, it will soon be publicly available / the russian version is available initially)

Anomaly Vanillin Edition (A.V.E.) is my own vision of the Anomaly 1.5.2 modification. I collected and redesigned everything that, in my opinion, should be in Stalker, but, for one reason or another, was never implemented. Rather than describing the foundation of the build, or listing the key features of the gameplay, it’s easier to say this: this is Anomaly, Lost Alpha, Dead Air and NLC in one bottle.
I'm still working on balance and new features, but 1.5 is a release and playable version.
★ Main aspects
Concept
There are no cheeki-breeki in azure Adidas, increased loot and the player swearing in the voice of the Bear from Escape From Tarkov. I have collected the best and most interesting addons so as not to disturb the atmosphere of the original Anomaly and in some places even move towards vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (Shadow of Chernobyl, Legend Returns, Lost Alpha, Oblivion Lost Remake and other soulful developments).
Graphic
I counted on ALL players: the picture is pleasant and authentic even on the most potato graphics settings. Also, emphasis is placed on the variety of the game: models, effects, icons and textures have been updated and expanded, but there are no poisonously contrasting sausages and FHD vests here. A convenient, strict and beautiful interface with minor color edits also creates a pleasant atmosphere of the game. By the way, the main menu is the first thing that catches your eye and reveals the main idea of the assembly: to return and detail the Same S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 🕯️
Audio
Many addons have been introduced to improve the sound component of the game. Mainly, the music and environment have undergone changes. Of course, the sounds of shots, ricochets, steps and other interactions with the game world have been updated, but it is the background that sets the proper immersion in the Zone. Special thanks to the authors of these addons, because a colossal amount of work was done.
Animations
Basically, first-person animations have been developed and polished, that is, camera effects and realistic use of food, drinks, medicine, weapons and other equipment.
Gameplay
The zone has become a dangerous, aggressive and unpredictable place. Frankly, this is the Ironman mode multiplied by three. Monstrous hardcore, meticulous development of your character and starting the game from the bottom are the foundation of the modification. Now death entails the loss of all money and equipment (except for what is equipped, that is, the suit and weapons will remain with the player). When creating a new game, it is NOT recommended to change the already set difficulty, economy and additional settings. modes, since the entire balance of the game is lost. However, this is everyone's business. Any suggestions and comments are welcome!

Before starting a new game
Make sure the game is set up correctly. This is especially true for screen resolution (set in the launcher after resetting graphic settings). Please note that the modification was tested on a DX8 render (yes, guys with a bucket of bolts instead of a computer, I'm with you)

The assembly has more than enough garbage and unnecessary files. This does not affect performance in any way, but in future releases unused junk will be eliminated.
All S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Anomaly and specifically AVE files are compressed and packaged in .db format. The engine has also undergone changes (differential loading LTX, bypass algorithm for upgrading weapons, etc., that is, most addons are IN PRINCIPLE incompatible with the original game, so installing a mod on top of anything is madness).
AHTUNG! Recent changes include me screwing up Life After Death mode and losing my mind causing my save to fail under mysterious circumstances (incorrect parameter/line 87). I need logs and a detailed description of the situation in which this happens, since I seem to have fixed the crash, but I still haven’t found the reason (???).
I strongly recommend making more saves, if something happens, you can easily return to the previous save and go through this or that place again. I will be glad for any help in the occurrence of bugs, shortcomings and errors during the game, because it is impossible to play and look for this in itself.

The same assembly automatically goes into public use - do with it what you want, it is not at all necessary to follow me as the author.

I most likely explained myself badly: modpacks are based on the work of others, and full proper credit should be given to each individual mod a modpack is based on.
Making a credit section stating that it's too much work to do a full list ain't gonna cut it.
Tbh I'm not speaking for myself, it's been a long time since I stopped caring about who uses my work, hence why I state on GAMMA project that all GAMMA mods (aka the ones clearly stating GAMMA in their name) are free to use as long as the source is cited. I'm talking about other people that might be annoyed by your not exhaustive credit section and the start of your project description that gives specific aspects of the modpack that are held by individual well known add-ons.
About my ballistic work since you were talking about it, the one on moddb is completely outdated and I cannot really recommend it, as stated in the mod page.
But tbh, it's not that important, it's just a game, the important is to have fun while respecting each other to have a good time.
If something annoys a particular author, let him show up and I will have no problem adding him to this list. But the only fact is that people who call themselves authors of addons forget that they themselves do not have any real rights to their content.
