Half-Life: Opposing Force is an expansion pack for Valve Software's science fiction first-person shooter video game Half-Life. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published by Sierra Entertainment on November 1, 1999. Opposing Force is the first expansion for Half-Life and was first announced in April 1999. Randy Pitchford, the lead designer on the game, later noted that he believed Gearbox was selected to develop Opposing Force because Valve wanted to concentrate on their future projects. Over the course of development, Gearbox brought in a variety of outside talent from other areas of the video games industry to help bolster various aspects of design. Opposing Force returns to the same setting as Half-Life, but instead portrays the events from the perspective of a U.S. Marine, one of the enemy characters in the original game. The player character, Adrian Shephard.
This is a collection of what will be needed to get Half-life (1998 Release) up to date. Also includes the 3Dfx MiniGL driver update if you have a voodoo graphics card. This should be archive.org Material.
I agree.
ill post this on archive.org with your permission
want me to post tjis to archive.org?
Best game there is on steam! :)
I love it, feels like quake!
But there was also someone i remember that have made a mod for it, it was called DMQ and DMQ2 and perhaps 3. I Have found a lot of these files, but i have no clue how to setup a server for it. Found it when digging deep into old ftp servers that still kept some files and still up n running :)
Anyway, been fun if this game had been blooming again, and the cost in steam are quite cheap anyway. And if you like a fast, quick weapon changing, high phase game, then this is a game for you!
Game approved! 6/6
Hello,
I have binaries for version missing in your archive, do you want it ?
which ones do you have?
I have already applied patch 1.1.1.0 to my WON Half-Life. I thought it would cover all previous patches..?

i have the goty version of WON Half-Life (1.1.1.0) and i want to downgrade it, these installers work?
delete/backup the hl.exe from your folder then create a text file that resembles hl.exe (it's file extension must be hl.exe) then use the upgrade of your choice
What happens if you skip some of these steps?
For example, you jump directly to 1.1.1.0,
Does that mean you are not gonna get the fixes from the patches you skipped?
