Looks good!
I always thought that some of Cry of Fears models looked a bit shoddy (the weapon pickups especially), this a welcome addition. 😺
Awesome!
The models and its corrections look amazing
This unoficcial patch will affect enemies in the future?
If you believe there's issues with the enemy models, feel free to submit your suggestions in the google form at the top of the article!
I've played this several years ago, it's good that it gets improved.
A lot of great graphical improvements !
Thanks for them.
Cheers.
Are there any more updates
coming to the Steam version of Cry of Fear,
do you think?
I doubt it - the original creator has very much moved on, in his own words too. Still, there's a decent modding scene (including this mod, of course) which will occasionally produce something new, I'm sure :)
There was a Source version at one point I remember.
Did that get scrapped?
Yeah, unfortunately, and the Unreal remake too. Lots was shown for both.
Does this mod affect achievements or unlocks or anything?
Nope, it will not affect your ability to get unlocks of any kind and also shouldn't affect your current unlock status :)
wow amazing work ! :o
How do I install it? I've downloaded and extracted it, but there isn't anything that says how to use it.
There is - check the file description.
I know, I found a past comment that explained where it was.
if you're still having trouble, extract the files and copy them into the cryoffear directory, then replace the current ones with the old ones
