How to install:
At the moment I didn't adapt it with DLTX. Use Mod Organizer or a similar program to load the mod.
New game advised, although it should be possible with already existing savegames. I would nevertheless advise you to make a copy of your old savegame.
What to expect:
The goal of this mod is to create sidequests which render the Zone more alive rather than a large mainquest with a fleshed out story.
This is Part I of the mod; the major quest chains are not fully developed yet, so only the first couple of missions are available. Part II might come out if I find the energy and the ideas.
- Questchains: There are two major quest chains - for the first talk to Butcher (although you will need late early-game/early mid-game gear - don't try to do it with a double barrel shotgun) and the second one will make itself known.
- Smaller quests and encounters: the line is difficult to draw between the two, as some encounters are more elaborate than others - are they proper quests or only interactable events? I don't know, that's for you to decide. Some you will find by playing the major quests, others by talking to NPCs or by progressing in the game.
Sometimes alternative ways to conclude the mission may be present. It's for you to find out.
For the keen observer, there is also an alternative way to progress in the main quest (living legends).
New game advised, preferably Loners (yes more Loner missions - it's my favourite faction so that's how it is) or Clear Sky.
Other factions should work too, but you'll have the usual problems of faction animosity.
What not to expect:
- Elaborate Missions: I started this project with no knowledge of programming. I learned during the developpment and with time (and mostly the help of the awesome community on the Stalker Anomaly discord) I learned to use more sophisticated (for me at least) ways to code. Still, I'm an amateur and this is necessarily reflected in the mod: you might notice which quests are older and which are more recent. I don't really plan to go back to the older ones so take them as they are. In short, don't expect highly scripted missions - most are rather short and simple: in the end the quests are glorified "fetch/ kill/escort" quests with a semblance of a story around.
- Good Storytelling: The same is true for the story writing. I'm not a writer, I don't consider myself a good writer, although I believe that some dialogues should be more entertaining than others. Expect Rings of Power and not Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon.
- Lore friendliness: I tried to keep it lore friendly, but obviously this is fan fiction and some creative freedom had to be taken.
- Quest markers: To be honest, at the start I didn't know how to code them except for NPCs. Now my former lack of knowledge has become a feature, as I think it's much more interesting to have to find something on yourself (of course directions are provided) rather than follow blindly a marker on the PDA.
- Fast reactions on my part: Considering I'm alone, don't expect that I answer rapidly (or sometimes at all - not out of spite, but simply due to real life responsibilities). Bug fixes can take some time, updates will take some time, etc.
What I cannot guarantee:
- bug free: this is a beta - expect that I couldn't test everything.
- compatibility with other mods (skins etc. should be fine as long as they don't change the item name in the code) - I added a small ReadMe if you have some knowledge in modding.
- savegame compatibility after mod update: I'll try to make it compatible, but there is no guarantee.
If you want to play with an already established savegame (which I don't recommend as it's meant to be played with a newgame), make a copy of your savegame.
What to expect in the future:
- DLTX adaptation will probably be next
- revamping some of the code concerning older quests - I learned a better method and would like to come back to some of my older quests to apply it
- two - three other quests quite likely
- next Part: I have some ideas but it will take time, as writing dialogues is horribly time consuming.
Beta-test feedback:
- balance: some feedback about difficulty and rewards would be welcome. I tried to keep it a bit difficult, although sometimes the missions will give you some items which you will need. For example, some feedback on this would be interesting: is it necessary for the player to receive those items beforehand, or is it better if the player has to manage the missions with his own resources?
- if there is a crash or a bug, describe the circumstances and send me the log. Also mention the mod version.
- typos/grammatical errors: I wrote everything in Notepad++, which means no spellcheck. It would be the easiest for me if you could find the line with the error in the game file: configs > text > eng

- added a proper quest for Alyosha after helping him.
Trapper's second Chimera mission is likely to be bugged due to it's complexity, so if something crashes or doesn't work it would be good if you describe the circumstances as detailed as possible.
KNOWN ISSUE: If you drink with a NPC, you have to turn your SFX on again. I'll try to find the solution to it, but for the moment you'll have to do it manually
If Hawaiian's trade is bugged, delete the file in my mod configs > scripts > jupiter > jup_b202_stalker_barmen
I would advise to play the mod from a new game, as it's meant to be played from rookie to experienced Stalker. But you can try with an old save - but make sure to make a hard copy of your old savegame! I can't guarantee that my mod will not break something
this mod has so much potential! but apparently it also wont be compatible with anything that change character_description files..i hope u could also make it DXML to ensure its compatibility with other quest driven mods. thank you for ur hard work!
Dont care, quest mods get an automatic 10. Just like new levels, anomaly lacks in quests

What I found one of the worst of Anomaly was the lack of actual interesting quests; this mod changes it! Though I haven't touched Anomaly in months and rather playing CoP, I'll still give it a 10/10 because this solves a real issue. Respect to you, kind Stalker. The Monolith is with you.

I don't plan to translate it myself, as writing the dialogues already takes too much time. Maybe some other members of the community will take it upon them to translate

Quest mods are so rare in anomaly, thank you for trying to conquer this wild field! I always thought that anomaly would be perfect platform for new quest lines, looks like the time of new quests are coming closer and closer finally. Wish you success!
New quests and things to do in the mod are always something appreciated.
just throwing my opinion in there but, One remarkable quest line was those you could find in RTTN mod where your choice could hugely impact the following of your quests.
People would be encouraged to start new playthrough or reload old saves for alternative quest ends / progression.
Also what is cool is leaving enigmas and requirements that make you think.
Anyways, thank you for the work and your enthusiasm over bringing new content :)
I agree with you although it's difficult to implement. There are already two quests which allow alternative solutions, although they only have immediate consequences and don't influence something unrelated.
For enigmas, I have one or two ideas which I wish to implement in the next update, but I still need to flesh them out. Maybe you have a good example on which I could inspire myself?
Which quest in RttN are you thinking about? The one with the Controller?

НЕТ. до ларика я еще не добрался. это после убийства стаи собак и иногда посля взятия консервных банок.
иногда бывает что bellerophon не говорит ни чего. например: butcher сказал убить стаю снорков на агропроме, я согласился и получил уведомление, подхожу к bellerophon а он не идет ни куда со мной.
как бы там ни было квесты у вас очень интересные получились !!! "толпа снорков" меня просто в шок повергла КРУТО!!!!!
Я играю и перевожу через гугл каждое предложение! потому что не понимаю английский. подскажите - как перевести полностью .xml файл за один раз. Чтоб не нарушить структуру файла?
мне приходится выделять каждое предложение отдельно и вставлять в переводчик! НЕУДОБНО ЭТО!!! я не умею пользоваться notepad++ на все 100% . возможно там есть какаято функция перевода?
каждый раз с одним и тем же сообщением? возможно, вы можете найти меня в Discord, и каждый раз присылать мне лог-файл после crash? имя comradecatilina или catilina. Я тоже на Anomaly Discord.

После деактивации Brainscorcher нужно немного подождать. И после выполнения задания Долгa тоже нужно немного подождать - кажется, три дня..

СУПЕР КВЕСТ !!! у меня установлен аддон на то чтобы нпс убегали в случае опасности, которая выше их сил... и .... половина в ужасе разбежались, но потом атаковали со всех сторон! крутейший квест! спасибо!!! я давно так не веселился
Спасибо за добрые слова, но, может быть, у Вас тоже есть какие-то претензии? Квесты, которые вам не понравились и т.д.
пока еще я не видел квестов, которые мне не нравятся, но я еще не все ваши квесты наверное видел (если вы имеете в виду ваши квесты) А из обычных квестов Anomaly мне не нравится: "установить сканеры в аномальных зонах", "найти пистолет или автомат для НПС", "доставить посылку", "сопроводить ученых куда-то" = это все не интересно и скучно!
good evening stalker! I was wondering if you had a eta on the dltx/dxml update. no rush, I'm only asking so I know when to start my next venture into the Zone :d
I plan to add some other quest ideas I had and then release a DLTX adaptation. Depending on my creative output and the time I find to put it into code, I think the ETA would be between 2 and 4 weeks.
i'm too lazy to check it can someone tell if this has any effect !
jup_b202_stalker_barmen.ltx" has already been altered by the "1Trader Overhaul (Main Folder)" mod.
also the Quick Zone Spawns mod there is a lot of conflict
jup_b202_stalker_barmen.ltx - I forgot to delete that file (it's a leftover of a quest I'm only writing now - I used it to check something). You can delete it without any problems (it's in configs > scripts > jupiter).
For the Quick Zone Spawns, either the future DLTX adaptation will solve it, or the two addons will be not compatible. QZS alters the smart files, which I also have to alter in order to give logic (tell them how to behave, move, where to stand etc.) to my new unique NPCS and to alter some spawns of basic NPCs for quest reasons. You could always patch it yourself by adding my stuff to the other files, but I imagine it to be tedious.

At some point you have the option to accept a proposition if you like it. A NPC will point the way. It will make sense when you see it.

Я нашел ошибку. Сегодня я ее решу и выложу патч.
когда выложите патч то не могли бы вы сказать мне какой именно файл нужно будет заменить. по тому что я уже много текста перевел на русский и если я патч установлю то опять надо будет все переводить.
Я опубликовал версию 0.5.2. с исправлениями.Я также немного изменил этот диалог:bar_dolg_medic_hunter_0_yes_6 но вы его еще не видели
