Zombies are completely fried, so much they can't adhere to the basics of combat. Stalkers are not fried but they no longer possess mythical cat-eyes of power that let them see in the dead of night.
Changes to the visibility parameters of Stalkers and Zombies, they shouldn't be able to catch you from afar in the dead of the night but also shouldn't be dumb as a brick either. Zombies are more braindead than normal and can't properly turn off their headlamp while in combat.
[I'm still iterating on this, trying to find that sweet spot in balance, so - jank expected but that's synonymous with stealth gameplay in Stalker. Input is appreciated]

What do you mean? The community still active, that's all.
It's so satisfying to invest in your Vintorez and really get and stealth move in your way into The Zone. Works fine for me: I can wait for someone in a enemy squad that walks apart and get a clean headshot without anyone noticing it, then moving to the next one.
Sometimes they can see me with foggy dead-air from like 100 mts or a lil more, but that's fair since i can detect them a lil before.
Have you checked another config?
And yeah, zombies fryed are really nice to hunt down as it should be.
