With this map set, you'll find every unique map from Psx Doom that I remade with the tools that are available today and that I assembled together creating a daunting lore and atmosphere behind this new Doomguy's journey!
Have you ever played the psx version of Doom?
Yeah, it was the good ol' doom, but with a more captivating atmosphere in it.
It had 1 new monster (and 1 was missing), new more eerie sounds and tracks, color lighting, but most importantly, 8 brand new maps!
It was Awesome! At least for the 90s standard, now... well, it didn't age too well.
But do not despair! For I am here to fix that! (I hope so)
I wanted to give new life to those wonderful and unique levels that brought nightmares in my childhood, giving them an improved look with the powerful tools at my disposal, but without going too much overboard with the fancyness, I still wanted to maintain a certain fidelity to the originals, and improved gameplay with extra spicyness, because nowadays we consider vanilla Doom quite too easy and plain, but that's not everything!
With this map set, I wanted to create something that could stick every single map together, so I wrote a simple, banal and completely unnecessary lore behind it!
I also modified every map to better connect them to the others and have a continuity.
Also it should be 100%ish mod compatible and cooperative compatible! (hopefully... I couldn't test with friends, so... I can say it starts up and works in a single player coop with GZDoom).

I noticed at the very end of the Club Doom level at the switch that opens the exit zone- at least besides it, are two exit sectors that can be interacted with to get to the next level instead of walking past the evil eye.
I just checked and you're right! Those lines slipped past my eyes real good.
