Requires STRIFE1.wad to run. Tested on GZDoom 3.3.2, should be compatible with any newer version.
The mod isn't compatible with the Veteran Edition modification.This package includes JP's HUD mod.

What to do when "can't switch weapons":
1.Bind the weapon slot keys (Under Strife Overhaul section!!!! Not the GzDoom ones)
2.Obtain a weapon.
3.Open your inventory
4.Navigate the weapon bar using Next/Previous Item keys (Binds are under S:O section!)
5.Press attack (LMB) to bind it to said key slot.
6.Now when you press the key, it switches to the weapon (or to fists when the weapon is already equipped).

so i cant run this with the veteran edition of strife from gog?
Sorry for the late reply(moddb doesn't seem to update me on comments, it's better join the discord).
You cannot run it with the changes done by Veteran Edition, however the files required to run this (Strife1.wad and Voices.Wad) are part of S:VE.
You can not do it compatible with more versions of Gzdoom since the mod looks pretty good but for now my pc is useless and I am playing from Gzdoom apk Android.
I don't know which version of GzDoom works on Android but if it is anything older than a year then no (maybe with the planned light multiplayer version).
Also I'm not really sure how would you be able to control this mod given the number of custom keybinds.
GZDoom 2.1 is the version that I have now.
Yes, that one is a few years old.
how do i use special weapons?
Use the two select special weapon keybinds to choose and "weapon state 2" keybind to use. Sorry for the late response, but I don't get notified about comments, better join the discord or ask on the main page which I check more often.

Unfortunetely game have glitch that makes it imposible to finish. In moment of choice beetween killing Oracle or Macil, you can't kill any of them with Sigil of lvl2, they invulnerable to attacks. I bypass that by not picking first fragment of Sibil that was dropped by Bishop. But even after that i was confused because if you chose to kill Oracle then Macil didnt notice that and you cannot continiue. If you chose to kill Macil then you can back to Oracle but you can reach only to moment that he betreys you, then game stopped noticing his death. Good mod but i was ****** of after playing for a while... I finished this (bad ending) only because of cheats.
PS Really nice mod but need fix for that problem because is not small bug, it makes game unbeateble.
