After years of conflict, the Allies are finally on the brink of victory. Cowering behind the walls of the Kremlin, the Soviets decide to turn to one last act of desperation - the use of an experimental time travel device. The mission: to go back in time to eliminate Albert Einstein before he creates the technologies that will lead the Allies to ultimate victory. After a successful mission, the Soviets return to the present and find the Allied position weakened. But before they can truly celebrate, they find out their actions have spawned a new threat and global superpower: the mysterious, technologically-advanced Empire of the Rising Sun. Welcome to World War III.
Map based on the original Blistering Sands map from upcoming Blizzard's game - Starcraft 2. It consists of one large, highly detailed Mykonos type island with fully symmetrical sides for balanced gameplay. It has 3 expansion points per player, an Oil Derrick and an Observation Post in the middle. This map is not a absolute replica of original (not released yet) map, it only shares main idea and shape! ============================================== Installation: To add map extract archive in the following folder: FOR XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<Your profile name>\Application Data\Red Alert 3\Maps FOR VISTA: C:\Users\<Your profile name>\appdata\Roaming\\Red Alert 3\Maps ============================================== Feel free to report any bugs/suggestions here.
Just looking at the minimap it looks excellent. I'd love it if you made the other BR maps. You rock so hard for making this, I'll test it out now.
Checked it out, I'd like it if there were some blockades where there should be, but overall great map.
Well, blockades are possible, but they have some issues due to RA3 balance setting. After all they wont block that much of units as almost everything can swim (so basically blockades will make more trouble to defender not to attacker which wasnt planned in original SC map).
maybe it's just me, but the ZIP file is not working.
Yup, your right CKenn! Thaks for pointing this this for me. It appears something has gone wrong and file was corrupted, but it worked perfectly not long time ago. Anyways I've reuploaded archive and it should work now.
