UNIQUE GAMEPLAY TWISTS
Neon Drive will bring you 7 amazing levels, each featuring unique twists and perspective changes, keeping you on your toes (err, wheels) throughout the gameplay. You can take a look at some of these twists in the video. (Don’t be afraid of spoilers, this barely scratches the surface).
IT'S A MUSIC GAME
Each level of the game comes with a custom-made retro music track, perfectly tuned and in sync with the roadblocks and your enemies. This allows you to just hit the beat, unplug, and zen out. Watch the landscape seamlessly morph from one scene to the next, in a ballet of colors and shapes, and let your inner driver take the wheel.
NOT JUST A CRAPPY MOBILE PORT
Neon Drive is already available for iOS devices but that doesn’t mean we’ll just port it to PC/Mac/Linux as it is. We’re working on new levels and major graphical improvements for these platforms, to take full advantage of your gaming rig. There’s even more to expect: controller support, achievements, Steam trading cards, Steam cloud and NO microtransactions.
JUMPING, FLYING AND TRANSFORMING CARS
Neon Drive cars can jump, hover, fly into the outer space or transform into a running robot. Tired of driving and dodging the obstacles? Just hold on until the half-level mark when something special is bound to happen!
3 DIFFICULTY MODES
There are three difficulty modes: normal, hard and insane that will test your skills to the limit. Even if you manage to complete everything, there’s an endurance mode in the works for those who want to climb the leaderboard even higher.

Neon Drive is a retro-futuristic arcade rhythm game. It's inspired by the aesthetics and gameplay of the classic '80s arcades, but is rendered in modern 3D graphics.
In Neon Drive, players must control a race car and avoid incoming obstacles by switching lanes. The obstacles are carefully placed to be in sync with an original custom-made retro synth soundtrack, making this a true rhythm-based game. Neon Drive has seven levels, each one featuring a unique gameplay twist like perspective change, environment change or even car transformation, evoking iconic retro genres such as a top-down shooter or a side-scroller.

1st of all, i have no words to describle how beatiful this game is, seriously there is no screenshot to describe how great it looks when you drive through the music: the track, the car, obstacles, backgrounds everything together fits the music so good it hurts. P.s. this is not really *racing* game, its a rhythm game.
+Visuals - are solid 10/10, there are 7 different *areas* you play, and each has its own neon style and its very own feature, so every other level is special.
+Music - simply awesome, instant addition to your winamp playlist for a long time + all the music tracks have very solid bit which is good for rhythm based games
+Variety of different styles - each level has its very own design, you can find them in the trailer.
+3 difficulties - 1st of all this game is very hard at least for now at the lowest difficulty - the choosen difficulty sets the speed of the level something like 75%-100%-125% so music goes faster as well as obstacles so you have to react faster and stuff. (At normal difficulty you have 1 live now)
+Practice mode - it has VHS filter for visuals and sound and unlimited lives, so awesome i'd rate 5/7
+Endure mode - infinte mode where you have to survive as long as you can
+Steam achievements
+Steam cards - backgrounds, badges and emotes are awesome (backgrounds that you can find in the games website or in the game menu)
Upd 23.05
+There were the issue when on different PC you had music desynced from the obstacles, now you can correct this if you have delay by increasing of decreasing the music delay (+ -). So insane difficulty relies only on your skill now :)
What can i say after all - you can run from the 80's, but you cant hide!
