RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Work closely with Level Designers to ensure all map creations adhere to concept designs and incorporate necessary changes

● Work closely with Art Director and Lead Environment Artist to ensure consistency, quality and focus on the visual target

● Communicate with both Technical Artist and Engineers to help resolve issues and aid in

R&D

● Work with Project manager and Art Director to establish accurate estimates to ensure on-time deliverables are met


REQUIREMENTS:

● 2+ years’ experience modeling game environment art and generating textures in an industry setting

● Bachelor’s degree in related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience

● Extensive experience in object creations of all types and sizes within game-rez budget, including modular assets

● Proficiency in Art software such as 3dsMax, Photoshop, and ZBrush

● In-depth knowledge of both high and low poly techniques

● Ability to adapt to various artistic styles, from realistic to stylized

● Familiarity with shaders, UV, and normal map creations

● Skilled in texture creations, both from photo-sourced and hand-painted

● An artistry for color and texture application for terrain painting

● Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

● Experience with Unreal Engine

● Experience with 3rd party software to aid in speeding up production time, such as Substance suite

● Strong traditional art and digital painting skills

● Strong aptitude to continuous learning in/outside work hours

After a 3-month trial period, you may go full-time, continually paid up to 40-to-50 hours a week at any time as proven and required at the company’s discretion.
