10 years of Base Defense!
What's new?
Hello there! This mod is in development for more than 10 years, so this is anniversary update 
It has a lot of quality of life changes, bugfixes and a bunch of new features. These features include updated inventory, weapon balance overhaul, new weapon tier system, new system for automated holiday event start ups, new monster type called Champion, time-based power-ups, new weapons and much more. You are able to find detailed information below in Change Log section.
It is really difficult to highlight some of the changes, because there are a lot of them and most of them seem big. Here they are, at least some of them.
Now you are able to see your character in inventory menu, it shows cosmetic items you have. You can spin this preview with mouse wheel.
Item random box was updated and now you will want to spend much more of your in-game currency on items it has. Take a look at new powerups feature - potions. Some of them are very powerful.
Are you new to the game? Or maybe one of the oldest Base Defense players? I bet you will find this thing really useful... This is Archivist menu, it has a lot of deep information about the most of game mechanics.

Information Pages
I don't really know how many Base Defense players remember all the versions of Information Pages site, which began as wiki-like site. It was a kind of little database containing information about in-game items, monsters, skills and other. Well, I have good news: Information Pages are up again! Now the site contains Base Defense Manual - a guide for newbies. I think old players will be able to find out something new too, despite it's about basic things mostly. The site is clean and simple. Base Defense Information Pages. It's also set as a home page for this mod profile.
Steam
Don't forget about Steam version of the game! It features cosmetic items, achievements, a lot of servers and much more!

Hello, are there going to be any future updates? because me and my friend really enjoy the mod and it would be great if you guys add like a new menu, perks or even powers, beacuse when i made it to wave 110 (alone) it got really hard, thanks!
Hello! Thank you! Yup, I plan to update the mod in the future. There are already existing powers in character menu. There are also a lot of different potions (perks) in random item box.

Cool mod
I can't get this to launch properly, it's ****** up no matter what I try. You can't see the menu properly in fullscreen. This is the only Goldsrc game I've experienced this with.
After I managed to 'sorta' make it work, there was a firing delay on the pistol wtf. I didn't enjoy the game anyways, the waves come too fast.
Does'nt saving characters(v 1805). Anyone help?

Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong but when I start the server and my brother joins in, it still displays "Waiting for other players" and the timer doesn't countdown. Can anyone help me with this?
The timer won't countdown if server setting "deathmatch" is "0" or invalid map running (it doesn't have wave system).
