Battleground 44 is inspired by and aims to be a modern HD reimagining of the 2002 classic PC game BF1942. The mod will feature more classes than the original game had, and will also aim to do away with unrealistic historically incorrect equipment. No longer will British use American weapons and vehicles. Japanese will also no longer be stuck to using German equipment and weapons. All factions will be using historically authentic equipment, weapons and vehicles.
After 4 years of hard work we are ready to release the first ever build of Battleground 44! What started as a simple remake turned into so much more! This download consists of the Objects Folder Archives.
How do you even install this mod
If you having a trouble to install. To install it, place it inside new folder named as Battleground44 on D directory like this D:Battleground44
And another way to understand is here. The image shows where I put the mod file.
Important message for the first time bf2 user, I recommend to do not run bf2.exe since the bf2 folder is not exist. So you can just boot the mod by modifying the .exe shortcut directory. For the example, I did installed my mod on the Battlegroup folder on the D: directory. If you're installing it on the E: directory, simply replace the D: with E:.
The code should be like this, please paste this code on the target.
"D:\Battleground44\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/Battleground44 +ignoreAsserts 1
The image of how I do it is here.
Cdn.discordapp.com
I did this with D: C: and E: and it said the path is not valid
Did you make a new shortcut?
All the files I downloaded seem to be corrupt
That is a moddb problem or something on your end. Please download again. Other people have it working fine.
Torrent?
OMG mods/bf2/shaders/staticmesh.fx not found!!! _Do_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shader folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP. (really)
I don't understand ******** I downloaded everything I need and it just has to be added without one stupid folder,
