Run. Think. Shoot. Live. Source. Black Mesa is the Half-Life 2 total conversion of the original Half-Life game. Utilizing the Source engine and its endless array of possibilities and powers, Black Mesa will throw you into the world that started the Half-Life continuum and introduced Gordon Freeman to the world as a gun-toting, bullet-dodging Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.
his is a custom model made for the On a Rail Uncut mod for TextFAMGUY1 in the Black Mesa facepunch thread. and special thanks to Mr. Someguy for inspiration.
Nicely done!
shame he was left out
Look everyone, it's Gus! Gus is back!
You should really give the proper credit in your descriptions.
wait, this guy was in the first half life? if so, where could you find him?
This model was cut from the final version of the game, like many other earlier models. You can find him used in a good number of third party mods though.
I think he was going
to be in originally but they ended up using him as a base. If you look around at some of the parts of the Intro you can see Green workers driving forklifts (Maybe this is the only one) near a rocket.
He was cut from the game for whatever reason but the files are still there.
I wonder what those straps are for.
They don't seem to be holding anything up.
It's Black Mesa, they likely don't have a purpose at all!
I actually think those were supposed to be suspenders holding onto an utility belt and not some decoration. Whoever made this model didn't think throughly about it.
Nah they just stopped working on it at some point why wanna keep working on something you wont use in the final product?
As for the model nice work. Despite being a cut model he certainly was one of my favs from the Black Mesa team.
This is just great! Can i use it in my mod?
Does this replace all or just some npcs?
