Just load this file after Brutal Doom in your ini. Detailed installation instructions are in the Readme file included with the download. This does not work with the current stable build of Zandronum as it does not have voxel support. It does work with the Development build of Zandronum.

works on proyect brutality?
Not sure, probably partially at least. It wasn't put together for that though, so it could be hit and miss.
It may work but the voxels are obviously not modelled after PB's weapon sprites. As a result, you'll obviously run into weapons that looks nothing like your arsenals. Some weapons would probably still look like sprites as well, such as the pistol, autoshotgun, grenade launcher, etc.
To say nothing of the varies PB-specific items...

Works for some weapons not for all.
It works for some items, weapons in brutal doom and does not work for others new weapons made for project brutality, If you open the health pack (smart scavange) the health pack,ammo boxes goes 2D and then goes 3D again after it spits out all the items.. yeah hit or miss like Zedas said..
WOW, how does it work? Is it just a pack of models for static objects or they are dynamically generated somehow?

With all the different possibilities for gore in Brutal Doom, that would be a shitton of work, I imagine.
Just fill the Voxel volume with bones blood and yuck. Throw in a few locational damage animations and roll with it.
Probably can be done in under 3 years.

Voxels are not supported in the current stable build of Zandronum. They do however work in the current development build.
can you do it for PB too?
Unfortunately the number of weapons and items in Project Brutality is well beyond the scope of what I'm looking to accomplish.
that's too bad. if at least some ppl make a team to make it real, that'll be the best.
This complements BD nicely. And works for burning candles too. Even tho the flame is an animated object :-)
Update coming soon that changes candle flames to sprites.

I have a couple spheres in progress. but they really don't look that good yet. It's tricky to mimic the look of a thing inside glass.

I am having a serious problem to make the Voxel Patch v3.2.x work with BrutalDoom v20b. The voxels aren't appearing at all. I tried even to load just brutalv20b.pk3 and the voxel patch and it didn't work in PC neither in my cellphone (using D-Touch 4). Any hint about what could it be?
Are you using the latest version of GZDoom? Do you have an early Doom WAD file? I've had reports that the early wad files have problems running mods.
Yes, i'm using GZDoom 2.1.x. By early Doom WADs you mean older versions of the Doom1.wad and Doom2.wad? It's weird because your mod works perfectly with Project Brutality and all those hundred extra mods i use with it, and i use the exact same Doom WADs with both PB and BDv20b.

When I try zdoom_vox (from www.teamhellspawn.com) zip loads flawless...although your voxels are missing :(
The voxel patch achieves some of it visual stuff by inheriting properties from some Brutal Doom things and changing visual aspects. What those errors are saying is that the voxel patch is looking for those Brutal Doom items to inherit from, but it can't find them. This means that either: Brutal Doom isn't being loaded, the voxel patch is loading before Brutal Doom, or there is some issue with your version of GZDoom or OSX that I am unfamiliar with.
It's not working for me. I followed the instructions to the tee using the latest GZDoom, and it's giving me this:

You're loading addons multiple times and it's causing an error. The addons only need to be in ONE autoload section, not every autoload section.
How does one fix this?
Load each addon only one time. Use ZDL instead drag and drop things on gzdoom.

when I click and drag the the brutaldoom20b.pk3 file and drop onto the gzdoom - PLAY BRUTAL DOOM.exe file in my Brutal Doom 2 Hell on Earth Starter Pack folder. What is it that I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
You need to put each WAD/mod file only one time in ZDL to load. If you're just doing drag'n drop on gzdoom.exe, try to select the BrutalDoom file first.

Right when I thought Doom couldn't blow my mind any further after becoming addicted to Brutal Doom (and then Project Brutality to a much more extreme extent) I come across this piece of sexiness. :D
Been playing it with Project Brutality and the UDV visor, and I gotta say it's some of the most epic looking **** I've seen in a long, long time. I don't mind that all the extra **** added to PB doesn't have voxel graphics.
Performance wise, I'm not seeing any real hits to my performance compared to playing without it (outside of the 1st level in the Zones of Fear megawad, anyway).
