Cold Ice Remastered has lots of great deathmatch maps. We like to focus on reskins of classic maps like Stalkyard, Crossfire, Bounce and homologized mega-maps like BoundFire. And today, in honor of the 15 maps we packed in the Beta 2 release last month, we present the High Detailed Textures Pack!
The High Detailed Textures Pack is specifically tuned for our maps found in Beta 2. With unpacking the Pack into the ice_beta2/ directory and enabling r_detailedtextures 1, you too can experience higher quality textures as you endlessly frag like it was September 1999 on DM-Phobos (its been 23 years since the UT99 Demo!).
The Detailed Textures Pack for Cold Ice Remastered Beta 2 has been developed by our contributor, Napoleon. Spending time crafting the detailed textures, mapping them out to our thousands of brushes, and sourcing some detailed textures from mods and releases of the past, we are happy to have it a part of our mod with full credits given in the readme.txt.

Oh, one last thing. We challenged Napoleon to rebuild, extend and reskin our cult classic HLDM map DoubleCross. And well, look at that, he's blown us all away. DoubleFrost is a work in progress and coming soon to Cold Ice Remastered (and you can see his progress on the original skin build here!)
