Kane's Wrath campaign was designed around 1.00 balance. Changes to the balance for PvP was also applied to the campaign which upset the design. This resets the campaign balance to 1.00. Does not affect Multiplayer.

First Beta Release of Kane's Wrath Legacy, the goal of the mod is the campaign maps having the Balance of the Retail version (1.00)

Changes made to the balance of Command and Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath throughout it's short support impacted the way the campaign is played for either better or worse, either way it was not designed for it.

This is a beta release due to the modding pipeline of Kane's Wrath, hopefully can iron out some potential bugs I have missed before releasing a 1.0 version.

This mod overrides the campaign to provide the balance of the retail version, allowing you to play the missions for the gameplay it was designed around while benefiting from the bug fixes up to 1.02. It also offers the most convenient way to play retail campaign especially for digital versions of the game as they do not include the game data file to run the retail version.

This mod will only affect the campaign missions and will not affect Skirmish, Multiplayer and Custom Maps (they will still be 1.02 gameplay).

Instructions:
Extract and place folder into "Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\Mods". Then launch using WrathEd Mod Launcher

Slight balance changes have been made to the mod from 1.0 to optimize the experience

BugFixes

  • Hammerhead will prioritise infantry
  • Cloaking Field damage reduced against subfaction advanced infantry.
  • Enlightened will prioritise vehicles over infantry
  • Stormrider weapon damage reduced against subfaction light vehicles.
  • Traveler 59 Disintegrator speed normalized to Scrin.
  • Experience Levels fixed.

Balance Changes

ST

  • MRT speed increased by 20%.
  • Behemoth range increased by 20%.

ZOCOM

  • Changed Tiberium Field Suits upgrade cost and time to match Composite Armor.

NOD

  • Tiberium Core Missile damage scalar is normalized to the unupgraded counter parts.
  • Fanatic attack power increased by 54%, blast radius increased by 25%.

BH

  • Confessor Squad speed increased by 7%, range finder distance increased 38%.
  • Mantis Attack Power reduced by 9%, Tiberium Core Missiles Attack Power reduced by 9%.

MOK

  • Awakened speed increased by 25%, range finder distance increased by 17%.
  • Tiberium Trooper speed increased by 25%, health increased by 66%, damage increased by 150%.
  • Enlightened Squad speed increased by 25%.

Scrin

  • Ravager range finder distance increased by 5%.
  • Devastator Warship range increased by 14%, damage type changed from CANNON to GRENADE.

R17

  • Normalized Shielded Harvester Health with other Harvesters.
  • Stormrider health now match Scrin.

T59

  • Stormrider health now match Scrin.
