Lost Dragons is a multiplayer total modification aiming to bring out a new thrilling gamemode for Arma3 . Our concept is futuristic objective based team warfare with randomly generated map elements to ensure every game is a unique experience with completely new set of units, weapons, structures and terrain.
Id say the model is nearing the finish line. I did however want to try what it would look like with 10cm longer barrel and front.
I think I'll have to try both in game to see which one fits better.
Both versions look good.... I kind of couldn't decide which one to pick.
Lengthening the barrel would make the gun appear as a special purpose gun, considering the role of it I like the lower version.
I do think the length from the grip to the stock is abit lengthy, don't you think so?
you could really build on this gun if you could add multiple ammunition types and possible sub-munition abilities. examples could include he-dp, HV-AP-FS rounds, and Incendiary rounds would make this a jack of all trades death machine with medium range, slow ROF, and high damage with good accuracy when using single fire while auto could be controlled but only for close range.
This is pretty much the idea. We already have HE and AP type ammo on the list, maybe some form of a buckshot as an alternative. Incendiary could be an option too, but have to think about how it would be made in ARMA and how its statistics would be different with other rounds.
Right, would be fantastic if a Napalm Weapon was created for arma with a constant damage, spread, and burn time with smoke to create a fear and area weapon for the game that could work with bombs and shells like the m202 flash
There has been few flame weapons in different WW2 mods for Arma2 but they seem to be quite hard to be made look good and still have good performance if lots of particle effects are used.
Im not sure if LoDR will sport much flame weapons, except maybe some incendiary types, but our other mod the Tiberian Era will most definitely have some as NOD (if you are familiar with the C&C games) uses them a lot. But we have focused on LoDR for now so TE has not progressed much.
understood and thank you, oh and being a hard core RTS fan how could i have not heard of Nod... those were the glory days of RTS
