Why sud you removed the 'repair rotr' bottom?
I don't understand! I install it properly, right where I've always installed RotR, I'm using The First Decade, yet it keeps saying "Access to the path is denied."
Do I NEED to install the SWR net thing? If so, HOW do I install the net?
I'm encountering the same issue did you ever find a solution for this MOD?

I installed the .net the same way I installed the patch, but I still get the same message: "Access to the path is denied."
I want to play this mod so bad! Please, how do I fix this?
If you try to play Rise so I will not start unless Disabled SVR.NET Configure.
did you uninstall the old version and then install 1.85 in the Zero Hour root?
Default directory is
C/Program Files (x86)/Command & Conquer the First Decade/Generals Zero Hour/
Yes. Then I uninstalled 1.8 and left 1.85, same message.
I uninstalled 1.8 and 1.802, then reinstalled 1.8 and then installed 1.85.
try to just install 1.85, its a standalone not a patch (not the 1.8)
Nice work i love this mod
I uninstalled 1.8 and 1.802, then reinstalled 1.8 and then installed 1.85.
You should not install 1.8, only 1.85. There may be a conflict and may cause problems launching the game.
MOM GET THE ******* CAMERA IT'S HERE , IT'S HERE !!!! AND IT'S AWESOME !
Hey guys, I run this with Origin, Installed to correct path, the ROTR launcher does nothing, the mod works when I start generals zero through origin launcher, anyway to get the ROTR launcher to work? I think there was an Origin launcher fix back in the day, would appreciate if someone linked!
For multiplayer, I see in launcher window "9 players online" no idea how to actually get in to multiplayer, network thingy is empty, and install directory told me to get SWR 1.001 instead of the 1.000, any ideas?
Okay I fixed it, In case there are those following in my footsteps, here are the things you will need.
Fix for the launcher issue can be found here - Bibber.eu
SWR 1.0.0.1 is located here - Rotr.swr-productions.com
Win 9 ??? No such thing - they skipped it in favor of Win 10. There is Win 7 & 8 then 10 beta for public testing. The full version of Win 10 to be released later with all the bells & whistles you dreamed of!
*Looks at the date... looks up with narrowed eyes.*
Nope it's real a couple of days later :)
YES!
Congratulations SWR team

Oh yeah bayba! This was the most funnest i had with this mod so far! Very, very entertaining! The battles keep you busy & on edge with back & forth excitement!
A little problem when i play with usa and drop the green berrets the game stop working.
I fix it, the problem is the map, an old map of ROTR 1.802 map pack.
Still have issues trying to get the game to work! Keeps saying Acces to the path is Denied! I reinstalled the entire First Decade serie and removed/redownloaded and reinstalled the 1.85 RotR version, even did that SWR.net thing though i dont play online. Is there anyway to FIX this? I really wanna play
Try "Run as Administrator". Right-click on the Rise of the Reds shortcut on your desktop, select "Properties", click on the "Compatibility" tab at the top of the window which opens, check the box "Run this program as an administrator," click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window, click on Okay.
Thanks for that! It now does launch, only to run into the next issue! Now the thing is telling me that i need DirectX 8.1 or higher. Tried to find a solution on the internet, they said to remove the options.ini file and it should work. But sadly that doesnt :( i know i dont have the greates pc of all times but i did run 1.802 just fine

1) Are you sure you have DirectX 8.1 or higher? (I assume you do, but can't hurt to ask)
2) Have you tried running the ROTR launcher using different Operating System compatibility settings? (Look in the "Compatibility" tab, just above where you checked the box "Run this program as an administrator"). I've had this resolve issues with other mods.

Hey. Can you help me with the installing. I already have contra mod so i made another copy of generals and zero hour elsewhere. I installed it but cant get it to work. What should i delete from contra files? What should i do here?
Did you have copy the C&C ZH with the mod? If yes, unistall the contra and the ZH delete the file C:/programs (x86)/EA Games/C&C ZH. Install the C&C ZH make a copy to the desktop, install the CONTRA in C:/programs (x86)/EA Games/C&C ZH when is done, rename it to CONTRA, paste the "clear" ZH file in C:/programs (x86)/EA Games install the ROTR and rename the file ROTR. And dont delete the clear ZH file, if you play with mods is important for you.
Should i rename the exe file or the folder?
why does my zip file not open? It says it's corrupted, and when I try to extract it winrar say ''Cannot execute''. am I doing something wrong?
