Long-waited update for The End Of Days is finally out! Check out updated visuals, new units, new sounds and voices, and completely new feeling of the mod!
WARNING! This installation way is recommend primarily for MacOS users. For Windows users we recommend GenLauncher installation as it is much simpler and more stable.
Installation: put all files into clean ZH folder and remove/rename Scripts folder in Data. Make sure no other mods are there.
Main changes:
- New visuals! Units have received new skins and icons, all buttons were remade from scratch and terrain textures were updated to look much better!
- New content! Check out the new units, abilities and upgrades we've made!
- New General Power System! Each one of 12 subfactions we have now has it's own set of General Powers, which can be later upgraded in Command Center! 3 upgradable Common General Powers and 1 Ultimate General Power that costs 2 points. In total, we are introducing 48 new General Powers in the mod!
- New AI! Many have asked for a stronger AI opponent for Skirmish and here it is! Just try to beat even one Hard AI - we assure you it will offer a challenge you never encountered in our mod before!
- New Secondary Economy! While being mostly the same, Secondary Economy of each faction has received upgrades that will grant you an active special power to increase your income even more! Check them all out yourself!
- And much more of smaller changes the dev team forgot cuz it's been more than 2 years from 0.97 release lol!

Dear participants and TEOD fans.
just in few hours of open play we found more than 20 issues, most of them are trivial but we have few major.
We are working on a patch that will fix them and hopefully the mod will be more stable and balanced.
I'm still happy because the mod is very stable we had several 3v3 games and many players are reporting that the mod is much stable and faster in FPS compared to previous version. So no matter we have more detailed models and skins and many new mechanics in the mod, it runs even faster.
So our mission of remaking all the models, skins and code is accomplished.
Stay tuned for the patch in few days.

Fantastic to have an update after two years.
However I'm finding most if not all tool tips are missing for all factions.
US robots should be US faction
China flame should be China faction
China nuclear should be Russian faction
And GLA Assault should be GLA faction.
Please fix. Yes installed onto a clean install of ZH patched
to 1.04,script file deleted.

I don't have such issue on my end, so I really can't help you. Something should be wrong with your installation.
Make sure you deleted scripts and also str file or csf file from Data

I have same things, all hints are missing and China Nucklear instead of Russian faction, so i thought it's part of those issues mentioned above, which should be fixed in next days...
Installation problem! Not a mod problem!
Here's what worked for me: take all the files you extracted from mod archive into game folder and add "!!" at the start of all names. Like this: !TEOD_English.big > !!!TEOD_English.big
It's not a problem of installation, it's a problem that mod naming didn't take in account sometimes localized Generals may contain language files, smth like !SpanishZH.big, which will interfere with mod, but is not a fault of player.

"You have encountered a serious error" ,didn't happen on old 0.97.
If you can't run it, it's not a mod problem, but how you installed it.
I just unzipped it into ZH folder and run by Generals.exe. 0.97 has an exe installer but 0.98 doesn't
I have already play this version, welp, it's more challenging than previous 0.97 version, btw, good job for you, can't wait for another faction and please, add more map
First of all, what an impressive job, you have my respects. Can't say anything bad BUT I can't beat hard ai now, it just won't stop sending planes artillery and everything, been playing a 1v1 for 30mins and had to call if quits because there wasn't any more money in the map and it was eroding me little by little.
But medium army is beaten quite easy, I need something in the middle lmao

I was having a problem but I just changed the name of the "scri" folder and every thing is running very well.
just an amazing improve specially the AI.
I just wanna say that there's many player color allover my tanks and vehicles ... etc
maybe it will be enough to put player color on tow sides of the tank only in small line or as a flag for example.

Thanks a lot for this update. All the units and icons look awesome, the gameplay is pretty nice, too.
I have a problem and a question; my problem is that the ADATS missile system doesn't shoot at enemy units for some reason, furthermore, if I build, let's say 6 of them, on the same terrain, same direction etc. only one of them shoots and the rest of them don't. I have been unable to figure out a pattern, it's seemingly at random.
Beyond that, I wanted to ask if we will get a challenge mode for this version.

You have to rename/remove INI and Scripts folders from Data folder
Just make a 100$ donation to devs, and you'll definitely get "Very special installer for incapable people"(who want to play mods, but can't even follow couple simple instructions).

is it me or it needs some balancing ? been playing this game since release and this mod since 1st iteration..
the hard A.I can be a steamroller
The balance is made for PvP gameplay and against such cheating AI it might feels not so balanced.
Yes it's not perfect, but from PvP games and replays looks fine enough, slowly with time it will become even better.
Yeah I mostly play vs AI for fun
I noticed after the game that even if I had control over all oil rigs and many alternate economy building the Ai was skyrocketing its economy on its own
AI has infinite money, so you can't have economic win.

The game crashed when I launched the Bulava missile. Anyway, I like the idea that each faction has its own generals powers. MiG-31 is now the platform for the Kinzhal missile - that's how it should be. I wanted to see Krasnopol precision guided shell upgrade for the Msta-S howitzer. Keep up the good work.

Nice, this is the first time we have such.
It might be because of small differences here and there between players, or bad connectivity, or overloading the game with too many units, or combination of these.
