Toxis Residuum is a soon-to-be total conversion mod for the Half-Life 2 engine, incorporating many differn't ideas, asspects and concepts from many differn't cyberpunk tv series, films and games. All images, videos and media are all in development and are being changed/tweaked/finished off quite regularly (even if we don't show it all in updates). Any thoughts/ideas and or tips would be greatly appriciated and directed at either Crash-Headrom or Jenkins_08. -Unfortunately, due to personal reasons development of this mod has stoped for the time being. Work shall continue maybe at a later date (or when I get more staff). After a long hiatus of having no internet, i am back with a fairly major update...

As some of you may or may not know, i have been without the internet for approximately 5 months.
During this time i have not stopped with designing content for Toxis, infact it was probably the most productive time for me in a very long time..

Getting down to business...

~Sound & Music~

Since i have been offline i have composed almost 2 full albums, over 20 stingers, 22 ambient sounds and also some soundscapes.

I have put together a demo album for Toxis that may be changed later, but for the moment serves the purpose of showing you what types of music to expect from the game.

Ok well my original plan was to upload new screenies to our images section here, however each time i try i get a corrupt upload or it gets through but the image displayed is corrupted so, i've successfully uploaded them to my photobucket account and will use it this time.
I'll try again at a later date incase it's just a temporary problem with my computer or this site.

We also planned on presenting the ravine map and the core factory in this update but there is still alot of lighting and texture work to be done so hopefully we will have some more "eye candy" images by the next update...

~Textures~


In the past 5 or so months that i have been on hiatus, i have created in the vicinity of 3200 textures (which includes approx. 1500 frames for some animated textures).

Looks really good! By the way, could you fix that ground/cliff texture on the missile launcher level, it looks really bad, other than that, the rest of your textures are awesome!

Yeah i'll be turning this texture into a blend material soon enough, also i will fix the stretching with a seamless scale parameter in the VMT.
