New graphics mod for Star Wars Rebellion on its way
I’ve been working on a graphics mod for Star Wars Rebellion (1998). The game has its 25th anniversary this year, so I don’t expect too many people to play it. Remastering Rebellion
As a new hobby, I've picked up working on the characters and other visual assets relying on Wookiepedia references, AI engines, and Photoshop's new capabilities, including neural filters and others. My first goal is to finish a Remastering project for all characters.
All of them are lore-friendly updates. Some will use elements from the original game or from Rebellion Reloaded (a mod I was part of eons ago), but most of them are new, based on SW comics or books, or original movies.
Many of them are generated/painted from scratch using reference images. All lore-related mistakes will also be fixed (e.g. Bob Hudsol will be replaced with a generated image of the original actor playing Willard). I've attached a few examples here, but I'm about 60% done. As a plus, all characters will have unique, lore-based Encyclopedia backgrounds, mostly their home planets.
