Greetings everyone and welcome back to our usual dev news posting!
As you may have read over our Discord, last February has been rather hectic for many of the members of the team, which unfortunately resulted in a more slowed down development posting.
However, as of March, we are mostly back to action, and we have not been sitting idling by. Allow us to elaborate a bit further of what we mean in short:
For starters, regarding the new races, both the Death Guard and the Death Korps of Krieg are being developed as scheduled. So, if there was any doubt, now you can be sure they will be part of the coming version. We have been posting images regarding them the previous days but more to come.

On the front of the existing races, most races have either received their reworks(like the Inquisition Path of the Daemonhunters and the Black Templars and Imperial Fists) or currently under way or will be shortly. This includes the Steel Legion, a race which will get a massive rework as we have been teasing, once we are done with the current work over the Eldar(see bellow), so stay tuned!
Of course, it goes without saying but many fixes and rebalances based on the community's feedback have been applied.

And lastly, something most have been anticipating, the vanilla race reworks.
We are in the pleasant position to confirm that all but the Space Marines and the Chaos Space Marines have been reworked. Right now, we are working fully on finishing the Eldar, adding some new toys to both the Craftworld and Druhkhari Aeldari. Of course, the remaining two Marine factions will have their spotlight in this version-we will go full in immediately after that.
New Superheavies for the Eldar. Note, all are available at Tier 4.They do not share a cap with other relic units like the Wraithknight but you can only pick one-however the Lynx is only available as part of the campaign!
The deadly Lelith Hesperax as a new attachable melee commander and Grotesques, as new additions to the Dark Eldar.
And of course, following Jain Zar's reveal, the Phoenix Lord of the Dark Reapers, Maugan Ra has arrived to the battlefield. Splendid work by our team member and artist, Warekit.
And lastly, a video that offers some more insight on the reworked Orks by the one and only TheLaughingMax who also helps us with beta testing.
Before we conclude, we would like to acknowledge and make that because of the global situations happening at the moment in addition to our in real life obligations, to put it blatantly we honestly do not know what the future will bring to us or anyone else for that matter. We will however try our best to keep up the developing of the mod as usual and keep you posted with more updates as we move along the timetable. Realistically, we would like to have a release by April or May if possible but again, we can't at the moment set it in stone.On a last note, parts of the mod, like the Last Stand and the Campaign, are continuing as planned and mentioned before, however due to their amount of work, they need their own dev blogs to cover them all.

One thing that I hope you guys add in the future is a map like "Bay of Pigs" from Command & Conquer.

Will there also be a rework for the Raven Guard? They are currently just a skin. I would love it if they would feel much more stealthy and stuff.
There is no raven guard mod to rework tho.
There's probably a colour scheme for them in vanilla SM, maybe you're thinking of that?
Any plans to give a little more love to the IG? I love the mod but personally the vanilla IG feels kinda empty compared to some other factions that are incredible like the word eaters or imperial fists
Already we have covered them with lots of new toys for them for the coming version.
Most notably,a fully fledged air-force.

Can't wait for the update. Any chance we will see updated textures for the Adeptus Mechanicus base/some units? That would be fantastic.

It's an old mod from pre-codex days.
I spent so long texturing that damn thing...needs must and all, but my respect to competent texturers as it's hard to fill black space interestingly.
Maybe take a break from “texture work” and “text her twerk” instead?
Ive been loving this ever since finding it about a month ago, fantastic work and i applaud everyone that worked and is current working on this project. Patiently waiting to see what comes next as im sure everyone else is. I do have one question, is there somewhere that i can provide feedback for errors, glitches, or crashes? Im sure everything has been documented for now but just in case.
discord has both a feedback/suggestion channel and a bug report ticket mechanic.
This in one of the greatest mods ever. Any ETA on the nect version?

I wish the Black Templar's could get their neophytes as seperate t1 units , with the way it is all their squads have no sergeants. Is that a lore thing?
And why do the Dark Angels have no turrets at all?
