This mod adds two new difficulties to Ashes: Pro and Calamity.
Two new difficulties:
- Pro is the same as the Survival mode in Ashes, but with the extra enemies you would encounter in Arcade, or Apocalypse. Take two times damage, you get half as much ammo, and enemies have 25% less health.
- Calamity is Nightmare. 2x ammo, Hard enemy spawns, and your foes will respawn. I could barely beat Map 1 of Ashes 2063 with this difficulty, so, good luck.
Load the .wad inside the .zip after Ashes. It should work with any Ashes, whether it's 2063, Dead Man Walking, Afterglow, or Hard Reset, and in fact should work with any mod, since it's so simple.

Haven't played Calamity mode yet, but I think Pro will become my preferred way of playing Ashes, the ammo scarcity combined with the increased enemy spawns makes it so that you're really scrounging for supplies, and gives it that post-apocalypse feel.
Play it much like you would play your survival horror game of choice, engage what you must, avoid what you can, and later on you can afford to be more deliberate with your weaponry.
To kill every monster it necessary to became one with the crow-bar.
Also use the boot-knife whatever is possible on shooters.
And provoking inside fights helps a lot.
Since these are files with the extension .wad or .pk3, how can I integrate them into the stand alone version?

I think is possible:
1)Put this file in the same paste of the game
2)Copy the .bat files that runs the games
3)Rename each the copy from .bat file into .txt
4)Add this .pk3 file name you download here in the last (respecting the space between all the files there), on all the .txt files.
5)Put the originals .bat on a backup paste and rename the edited ones back to .bat, using them instead of the former ones.
No need to integrate, just load it after the standalone version using whatever mod loader you use. I use ZDL. neto's steps might also work.

I myself rather use the .pk3 files with ZDL as well.
Would love a Serious Sam mode, all the enemy spawns and all the ammo but no respawning lol
