Enables 30 FPS for self-hosted multiplayer games (instead of 25 FPS) and lets you play the campaign with up to 16 players.
This tiny patching application modifies the Conquest.exe to replace the 25 FPS limit with 30 FPS in self-hosted games.
In addition to that it removes the limit of maximum 2 players for campaigns.
That means you can play the campaign with up to 16 players in 30 FPS!
Of course the 30 FPS also work for instant-action games.
It is enough for the host to have the patched Conquest.exe. Your friends can just join your server and have 30 FPS.
How to use:
- Download the file
- Copy it into the folder where the Conquest.exe is
- Execute it (you may need to execute it with admin rights)
- A backup of the original Conquest.exe is automatically created and the Conquest.exe is patched
- Enjoy multiplayer games in 30 FPS with up to 16 players in the campaigns!
Please note: The Twitch Streamer CaptainFracas and his community found out, that on some campaign maps (e. g. Helm's Deep) and in some situations on other maps not all players can spawn. That means 16 players can join the server but some players can be stuck in the spectator camera when wanting to spawn. It could be related to an internal class limit, so you can try to distribute the classes evenly.
