Complete version of BOTTA Mod 5.0.1 Installation: Before installation, delete old BOTTA folder Download BOTTA 5.0.1 installer, unzip it and run it (AS ADMINISTRATOR). After installation DO NOT make a new icon, but use the old icon you have OR you will need to update the NEW shortcut Target & Start-in. This is to prevent the making of a new icon path which is confusing for new players.
Fixed bugs:
Gondor:
- Morthond Bowmen now propely gain bonus after "Gondor Marksmanship" Upgrade
- Ringlo Vale Footmen's "Close Shields" ability now plays its proper audio effect
- Aragorn's "Coronation" is no longer Auto Upgraded when Level 10
- Denethor can be now properly respawned at the White Tower
Lothlorien:
- Ent recruit text now properly says it's Maximum recruit count - 5
- Elven Cloak ability shortcut changed from "E" to "C"
- Ent's "Tree Form" ability can now be multi selected and multi executable
- Orophin uses proper audio when killed, instead of Tauriel's
- Beornings don't use Hwaldar's Audio anymore
- Summoned Noldor Warriors have Toggle Weapon
- Flet Expansion now costs 450 instead of 750
- Thranduil can now Summon his Guards properly
- Galadriel from the White Council can no longer be respawned from the Fortress when she dies
- Galadriel no longer damages Allied Units when she dies
- AI Ents now automatically switch to rock mode when spawned and switch to Close Range when near enemy units
Mordor:
- Necromancer's Level 10 ability moved to Level 9
- Gorbag can no longer cast "Gut Stab" to Sauron, Karsh and Treebeard
- Eye of Sauron can now be "Q" selected along with all Units or Heroes
- AI Grond can no loner be summoned on the entire map, only near enemy base
- Witch King is now propely targetable by Archers
- Gothmog's guard now dies when he dies
Isengard:
- Necromancer removed as a Ring Hero
- Isengard Warg pack now plays its proper audio when created
- Shortcut for building Furnace is now "F" instead of "C"
Gundabad:
- Gundabad Warg pack now plays its proper audio when created
- Fortress ability "Bounty Hunt" can now be cast anywhere on the map
Angmar:
- Karsh can no longer be respawned at the Fortress and Outpost
Balance fixes:
General Balance:
- Pallando and Allatar are now 30 Command points instead of 50
- Units that are garrisoned inside the Battle Towers, now exit when Battle tower is bellow 25% Health
- All Heroes and Units have their Knockback Resistance corrected
New Balance Feature: Advanced Unit Types now automatically gain "Chain Mail" Upgrade that particular Faction has. "Chain Mail Armor" is mostly used by Basic Type Units, but for them, this Upgrade must be purchased or auto purchased and it costs resources as usual, but the Advanced Unit Types gets tis Upgrade for FREE when it is purchased at the Armory or Blacksmith
Gondor:
- Gondor Stable now available after "Valor of Gondor" Spell
- Angbor's command set rearranged to be more suited for Early Game
- Gandalf's Lightning Sword Damage against Balrog increased
- Gondor Swordsmen, Spearmen and Archers Health increased to 370 from 300
- Gondor Knight Health increased to 1000 from 800
- Denethor's "Caretaker of the City" no longer reduces 25% Production
- Madril's Bow Range increased to 400 from 350, Bow Damage 270 from 220
- Oathbreakers no longer damages Enemy, instead they scare units and debuffs them, this is to be more book accurate
Lothlorien:
- Legolas's range damage increased to 200 from 170
- Legolas's "Hawk Strike" damage increased to 750 from 500 and deals 3x more damage to Infantry
- Celeborn's "Knowledge of Celeborn" gives 500 Experience instead of 700
- Rumil's armour inceased by 60%
- Unit Upgrades 50% more expensive
- "Silverthorn Arrows" Magic damage reduced to 5 instead of 20
Erebor:
- Ered Luin Craftsman's "Material Cart" Upgrade cost reduced to 300 from 500
Isengard:
- "Murder of Crows" Upgrade now reduces the Hero Cost by 10%
- "Iron Bolts" Upgrade now requires Level 3 Isengard Armory
- Ugluk recovers 30% Health instead of 50% Health with his "Flesh Devourer" ability
- Dark Clouds delay between lightning attacks is now 3 seconds instead of 5
- Isengard Warg Pack trample damage now 10 instead of 40
- Isengard Uruk Fighters, Pikemen and Crossbowmen Health increased to 550 from 400
- Uruk Scouts Health increased to 400 from 350
Gundabad:
- "Bat Cloud" Upgrade now reduces the Hero Cost by 10%
- Gundabad Warg Pack trample damage now 15 instead of 50
- Gundabad Warg Riders cost 300 from 500
- Wereworm Hole is now permanent but can be attacked
- Gundabad Halberdiers now knock Heroes 25% of the time instead of 100%
- Gundabad Swordsmen and Pikemen Health inceased to 450 from 380
- Gundabad Hunters cost reduced to 170 from 220
- Gundabad Orc Warriors cost reduced to 220 from 350, and build time reduced to 30 seconds from 40 seconds
- Gundabad Halberdiers cost reduced to 300 from 400, and build time reduced to 40 seconds from 50
Goblin Town:
- "Bat Cloud" Upgrade now reduces the Hero Cost by 10%
- Drogoth's "Fireball" damage against Ents increased by 200%
Angmar:
- Dire Wolf Pack trample damage now 10 instead of 20
New Mechanics:
New Hero class improvements:
- Tank Class: They are now much more resistant to Knockback and they also provide 50% Knockback Immunity bonus to nearby Allied Heroes
- Assassin Class: They are now always stealthed, even if they move or use an ability. This class now improves upon ambush tactics, and can provide stealth to allied Heroes and Units
- Spellcaster Class: They now provide 15% faster ability recharge time for nearby Allied Heroes in small radius, further improving upon their reliability on special abilities
- Warrior Class: They now have a specal Knockback Damage that knocks Enemy Heroes, They are also now 20% more resistant to Ability Damage, the type of damage that Hero's special powers deal, more improving on their resistance to special abilities since they are more versatile in close combat due to their different weapon choice
- Marksman Class: They now provide 20% Move Speed to nearby Heroes in small radius, more improving upon their Marksman role, providing much needed move speed because of their great vision radius
- Swordsman Class: They are now 25% more resistant to Unit Damage, SLASH - Melee Infantry, STAB - Spear Infantry, PIERCE - Archers. More improving on there role as a class that is best in fighting with a sword and needs to endure longer in army fights
New stealth system:
This game is missing some crucial element, and that is stealth and ambush tactics. Vanilla game had stealth units yes, but the stealth and ambush system was quite simplistic, meaning you could only use a few stealth units, so only Ithilien rangers, Dunedain, all elven units and Wildmen, which were the only stealth units in evil faction.
And now, a greater number of units can stealth near trees. Most of them are basic evil units, meaning that evil factions can now even more focus on treacherous tactics and be able to ambush the enemy.
In addition, some of the heroes can detect stealthed enemy units. Most of them are an assassin hero class, few of them are marksmen and some other heroes that has that ability as a bonus.
Heroes and units that can stealth or detect stealthed units:
Gondor:
- Faramir: Can stealth near trees and Medium stealth detection
- Aragorn: Big stealth detection
- Ithilien Rangers: Can stealth near trees
- Gandalf: Big stealth detection
Lothlorien and Mirkwood:
- All Heroes can stealth near trees and can detect stealthed units
- All units can stealth near trees
Erebor:
- Balin: Can stealth near trees, provides stealth to allies and has small stealth detection
- Bard the Bowman: Can stealth near trees and has Medium stealth detection
- Old Thrush: Big stealth detection
Mordor:
- Witch- king: Big stealth detection
- Mouth of Sauron: Medium stealth detection
- Gorbag: Can stealth near trees, becomes permanently stealthed on level 3 and has Medium stealth detection
- Grikshnakh: Always stealthed and has Medium stealth detection
- Basic units: Orc warriors, Mordor Archers and Mordor Spearmen can stealth near trees
Isengard:
- Saruman: Always stealthed and has Big stealth detection
- Lurtz: Can stealth near trees and has Medium stealth detection
- Ugluk: Medium stealth detection
- Grima Wormtongue: Always stealthed and has Medium stealth detection
- Sharku: Can stealth near trees and has Medium stealth detection
- Wulf: Can stealth near trees
- Uruk Scouts, Wildmen Pillagers, Axethrowers, Spearmen, Shamans,, Isengard Orcs and Isengard Archers can stealth near trees
Gundabad:
- Fimbul: Always stealthed and has Medium stealth detection
- Narzug: Can stealth near trees and has Small stealth detection
- Yazneg: Can stealth near trees and provides stealth for Gundabad Wargs and Warg Riders
- Gundabad Hunters and Gundabad Berserkers: Can stealth near trees
Goblin Town:
- Grinnah: Provides stealth to Goblins, always stealthed and has Medium stealth detection
- Groblog: Can stealth near trees
- Gorkil: Big stealth detection
Heroes and Units that can stealth near trees, can only be uncovered if they leave the trees, or by the Heroes who can detect stealthed units
Heroes who are always stealthed remain stealthed even if they move or use an ability, and can be uncovered by the Heroes or abilities which can detect stealthed Heroes and Units

¿Alguien puede explicarme como lo instalo? no e instalado ninguna version del BOTTA MOD en mi vida.
Instala rotwk en tu computadora versión limpia sin parches y aplicale el patch BOTTA 2.01 está en sección de descargas páginas anteriores para k no te pida cd( si tienes ya instalado otro rotwk con 2.09 le cambias el nombre le pones un 1 o. Un 2 al final de la carpeta de electronic arts para poder instalarlo otra vez el rotwk y cuando lo tengas instalado le vuelves a poner el nombre que tenía el juego con 2.09 y al nuevo le pones un 1 o 2 para poner lo en ruta y destino )...y luego instala BOTTA 5 y en el shortcut le pones las ruta de ese rotwk con el parche 2.01 botta tanto en iniciar en y destino ( en shortcut de la mod ya te viene x defecto lo cambias y ya está )..y ya lo tendrías instalado
Debes tener 2 veces instalado rotwk para age of the ring y otras mods 2.09
Y otro con 2.01 para BOTTA y otras mods 2.01(si son mods de estilo instalación igual)... Saludos espero te ayude suerte x fr odo

I faund some time today to test new version of a mod. I played with Gondor against Mordor at the Black Gate. When I picked up the One Ring using Aragorn, when he transformed into the "Aragorn, Lord of the Rings" and died during the attack on the enemy's base, he left the One Ring at the place when he died. But when I revived him, he got out still Aragorn, Lord of the Rings WITH THE ONE RING. There were two "One Rings" on the battle map. One at the enemy base and the second with revived Aragorn.
The idea itself is awesome. I was really suprised. Sorry for my English, through last years I actually didnt use it.

mordor never had necromancer, only Sauron. Now too. Goblins and Gundabad that have him on lvl 9 the skill is still inactive
