SOME OF THE NEW DB FEATURES
Realistic damage. E.g.:
- bullets cannot harm buildings, tanks, armoured ships
- flamethrowers and bazookas deal good damage against buildings as well as infantry
- engineers can attack buildings and build many defensive structures
- AA guns can also attack vehicles
- AA halftracks can also attack humans
- AA ships (light cruiser) can also attack ships
Realistic speeds. E.g.:
- AT guns and howitzers are slow and can be transported by trucks
- trucks and armoured cars are significantly faster than infantry
BARBED WIRE
can only be damaged by:
- engineers
- SAS commando explosives
- can be rolled over by tanks (drive the tank into it for a few seconds)
SANDBAGS
- can be built by engineers
- give morale bonus
- tanks and bigger vehicles can push smaller units out of their sandbag cover
LAND MINES
- can be placed by engineers
- are stealthy
- can also be destroyed by engineers
NAVAL MINES
- can be dropped by Catalinas
- can be destroyed by ASW mine sweeper
TERRAIN
- most buildings can only be built in urban areas/ stony terrain.
- trucks and rail guns can only use roads
- docks and naval yards can only be built in deep water (-2 and deeper)
- ships can only access deep water
- land units cannot access shallow water anymore
- only landing craft and minesweepers can access shallow water
That means only certain small units can land on beaches, while bigger units need access to deep-water ports.
IN THIS SCENARIO
- play as the USSR and defeat Axis forces
- withstand increasing attacks from MP40 assault troops, various Panzers, Stukas and other iconic units
- counter attack with T34s, SU76s, Ilyushin 2s and many more new units
- cross rivers and mountains to get in the enemy's rear and cut them off from supplies

- added the option to select a nation in the scenario. Now you can try out all nations, not just USSR
- for random games, nations were already selectable anyway. Just choose your nation under Civ - special powers (but consider in this mod certain units and buldings can only access certain terrain. Details in the description of the mod)
- for multiplayer games, you should be able to make your own scenarios. Make sure that human players can select more than just player 1 (on 2nd tab of player section, untick "CPU only")

- now four types of houses are walls:
-- renaissance
-- imperial
-- industrial
-- atomic
so that your units can take cover behind them, and assault troops (half the range, twice the firing rate) have a big advantage over regulars in cities
