This is the full release of TWHL Tower: Source, version 1.0.0.
Thank you for checking out TWHL Tower: Source! In this collaborative mod, each floor is made by a different creator, and it's up to you to climb up each one of them.
This mod requires Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer to play. See the installation instructions below for how to install the mod and the SDK Base.

Installation Instructions
To install Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer:
- Go to your Steam library and enable the checkbox that shows Tools.
- Find the Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer tool and install it.
- Right click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer, click "Properties", go to the "Betas" tab, and opt into the "upcoming" beta.
To install TWHL Tower: Source:
- Navigate to your Steam installation directory (for example, "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam").
- Navigate to the "Steam/steamapps/sourcemods" directory and extract the "twhltower" folder from the downloaded archive to that directory.
- Restart your Steam client.
- "TWHL Tower: Source" should now show up in your Steam library.
Warning: contains a lethal amount of trolling.
Proceed with caution.

wonderful! are the other two going to be updated tho? for the scaled HUD of the 25th anniversary and the NPC turning and objects being tied to the framerate? it would be nice to see these issues removed, so that TWHL tower 1 and 2 can be enjoyed even in the future, with 4, 8 or maybe 16k screens at high fps :)
oh, and subtitles in this mod ONLY work if the steam client language is set to english. But since there aren't subtitles in my language, maybe add them to all languages
Also, I don't wanna be mean but, what if gabe dies? then the puzzle in chapter 9 will not work anymore, cause there will be two numbers.
To run it on Steam Deck, the only thing you need to know is to set Proton (probably any recent version will do) for Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer and then proceed normally.
During game, you also might want to enable VSync and set native resolution in the game settings.
Is that the same Gravity Cat who made all those mods for Blockland???
Man I love the Funny Angel Girl, i'd love for her to have her own Source mod based around HL2 movement

I noticed the mod came out this year. No wonder the mod's credits on this page doesn't include Leon, considering Leon doesn't make maps anymore, yet was very creative at making maps nonetheless. Leon made both "Coastline to Atmosphere" & "Final Project Diary". Both so badass mods which user "malortie" will fix soon!
RyanThoughtCriminal Why would they credit Leon for anything in this mod? He didn't participate and I doubt he could work within such a limited space. Quantity over quality is Leon's modus operandi.
That's why I said "no wonder", because he retired far before this mod came out. I'm only saying this good mod would've made any floor doubly/triply/quadruply/quintuply badass than they already are now. I have an unnecessary imagination with "could" and "what if".

It seems that the trigger is just outside of the room itself. Great mod, I just wish that that achievement was a bit better defined.
