Aiming to provide cleaner and more intuitive version of Anomaly starting with big item cleanup.
For long time I have been disatisfied with the huge amount of useless and complicated items that only clutter the game, the original Less Items mod didnt help much as it removes all the interesting features from the game. Going by the golden rule of stalker modding "Nobody will do it for you, if you want it, do it yourself" I gave it a shot and heres what I came up with.
Please do keep in mind this is a Beta release
there might be oversights. If you spot any please report them to me here in the comments or in discord DMs, my account is linked under my moddb profile.
Due to nature of changes this mod makes its likely to be incompatible with many mods, for some better and more popular mods we will try to make compat patches

Цель - сделать более чистую и интуитивно понятную версию Anomaly, начиная с большой чистки предметов.
Меня давно не устраивает огромное количество бесполезных и сложных предметов, которые только загромождают игру, а оригинальный мод Less Items не очень-то помог, так как убрал из игры все интересные функции. Progress info:
Update 0.15 went live, we fixed some issues. most important change is improvement to glues which now take suit parts as support materials. This was done because majority of older supports (boots, underwear...) were removed
We also fixed few tags to make sure players know if the item is used for crafting
Update 0.14 went live, Russian localization is available now, please if you find any oversights report them so we can get to full release as soon as possible :)
This Addon gonna be my must have now.

Ill polish the mod a bit more and then start working on those, shouldnt take more than a week :)

Yo you forgot to change some zeros to ones in the mechanic trade file. They dont sell any multitools, files or ramrods. Nice mod btw :)

is this addon compatible with BaS?
depends, you should be able to play just fine but dont expect disassembling guns to work particularly well
Edit: Anyways compat patch will come once we get the mod out of beta
Thank you very much, I tried to play with this addon and encountered crashes but not because of BaS but ZCP and its loot generation. I will wait for the release from beta and wish you success in this endeavour.

you should post a complete changelog if you ever get the time, love these kinds of mods, taking it back to SoC without losing the new goodness. Good work!

For now the mod overwrites too many important configs and most likely it will break a large number of important mods that you use. Idea is nice anyway, i never liked tons of useless items and mechanics in anomaly, but many of essetinal mods depending on that. Its will be ok if you you using almost unmodded anomaly, but does anyone plays anomaly without mods?..
When we finish all we want to do the Compat patches will be worked on, we got few simpler ones already but for bigger mods like BaS it will need more work. For such cases I dont want to make patches untill the mod is fully finished so I dont have to rewrite 40 BaS files 8 times each :)
runing game in russian crashes it

Looking through files i am not sure what causes the crash. Tho i did notice that russian file had waaaaay less entries than english one. Could that be what causes crashes?

Хорошо, конечно, но еще слишком сыро, много режущих глаза отсутствующих или недоделанных описаний у наборов, слабоватый рандомайзер у трупов, мне например ни разу не выпало пистолетное масло за трехдневный забег в игре, нужны корректировки

New version is still work in progress, there was a lot of polishing and further balancing. I will make sure to increase gun oil spawn rates. As for the translation, thats the main problem now, it is very annoying to do. Thanks for valuable feedback :)
