Not sure why this is so poorly rated. While yes mutlicam wouldnt be useful as camo in the Zone, it allows easy identification. They are supposed to be sneaky, but this is also the same faction that in vanilla has a pattern that is AT BEST confused with Monolithians.

I believe this is another Clear Sky scenario, where a ton of people gripe about non useful camos because they apparently think every guy needs to be in a full ghillie suit, hiding from all sight.

The only logical reason Clear Sky would wear the camo they do is for identification. They can't hide, but its a swamp that until the events of the game they had sole control of. Why would they hide when its just them and mutants? Instead it would be more like hunters wearing high visibility clothing so you dont accidentally shoot each other. Also the colors would help the faction find the bodies of those who were killed by mutants, allowing them to be buried and their equipment salvaged.

This is the same as Ecologists wearing bright, highly visible colors. They have no real enemies, so its best to be easily identifiable. Monolithians have many enemies, meaning you just shoot everyone who isn't in your colors. Same for UNISG. Shoot everyone who isn't in your colors, focus on identifying your few allies to reduce friendly fire incidents. If they want to hide presumably they do as we do in the game, wear disguises.

I agree with your approach. I don't know why it is so poorly graded, the screenshots look very good.

To be fair I expected this one to get some push back but the intention was to bring in a real world camouflage to apply to the unit as a whole and give a unique appearance instead of just another Green enemy.

That "another green" - WAS actual unique appearence.
And the multicum is just a "bit" overused. E V E R Y W H E R E.

TolstiyBubba UNISG agents are extremely rare. I can only ever reliably find them in the Hospital in Outskirts. I would say if anything its a bit immersive for them to use such an odd camo for the Zone. Those who don't know about them would likely either approach them and be killed, or avoid them. Leaving the only knowledge of their existence being what could easily be disregarded as Mercenaries with poor camo tastes.

Even then, I will gladly take easy to identify factions in questionable camo over the maddening blend of outfits that are in vanilla. Duty in bandit trench coats, Loners wearing gear that is easily confused with Bandits and Monolithians, etc.

seeing as they're hostile with anyone who isn't Mercenaries, is it really a bad thing to be mistaken for Monolith instead of people knowing they're a top secret UN Commando unit?

Personally though, I would have preferred something to match the HD arms but i'm one guy.

Textures for vanilla,THAP, and THAP rework arms will come in the future but only after I have most of the factions done so I sadly cannot put a good ETA on them.

Hey take your time dude.

That said, since I have your attention, will loners, bandits, and renegades get a look? You wouldn't think so due to technically being labels and not factions in-universe.

Yes, Every faction will get done but those three will more than likely come after Duty,Freedom, and Mercs.

A good point, but they mostly want to stay out of the SSU's sights, not so much the average Stalker. The average Stalker would likely be fine trading with them or even doing jobs for them, but they would adopt the Mercenary I approach I imagine, killing any witnesses so that rumors don't spread. Or at the very least any rumors that do spread are so rare that they are disregarded.

As for being mistaken as monolithians, that's the point of the disguise system, isn't it? I mean the Merc guys in Pripyat Outskirts sell Monolith uniforms for specifically that reason.

Can you make a bag or backpack on the back of the Exo suit? I see that the place is empty

Full Multicam is boring, but this pack is great for pick-and mixing your own preferred look for the UNISG, some green, some tan, some Multicam, etc.
Also you can always spread it around the other factions, as well, or play around with hue and saturation in paint.net - the sky's the limit.

I'd say that's up to personal taste. The Mercs do that plenty, but unlike the Merc's they are official NATO forces deployed into the Zone. So they would obviously have proper uniforms and ranks. One could argue perhaps they are just Mercs as well, working for the UN much like they do for Ecologists, but why would they bother when they can already simply hire Mercs for that?

It's more likely that they are troops sent in to work on things the UN doesn't trust random Mercs to work on. As for why UNISG guys would use such random weapons, they could only last so long without regular supply drops. So they would be forced to eventually switch over to more local weapons to keep em shooting. Namely AK74's or shotguns.
