The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Now the weapons of the area are oxidized and dirty, with drawings of wild signs, insulating tapes, bandages and phrases. Wild factions camouflages are also included.
- SIG-550 Arrow of Strelok, AKS-74 Mercs of Scar, OTs-14 "Groza" Duty of Skull.
- Some corrected minor errors.
- 36 new skins: Mercs, Sin, ISG, Clear Sky and more…
- All AK-74, some 5.56 weapons such as Famas and AUG and more…
- Russian translations in texts and other minor errors were corrected.
- New drawings were added to weapons and others were changed.
V3.0: Another large lot where most weapons are coming 5.56 along with more shotguns and some snipers.
Now in total there are 69 textured weapons of all factions (less lonely, skins do not yet convince me. In the future I will bring some). Oxidized weapons or with great dirt, insulating tapes, bandages, wild symbols and phrases of all kinds of the area and its scenario. There are also faction camouflages, obviously.
I was inspired by Misery Mod and the Rage game, so these skins look miserable and wild, really. Obviously, they will look better with an autumn mod, like the one you see in screenshots (my own mod that I will soon publish)
There are still many weapons to do, but i wanted to share this because i will not have a lot of time in the near future. There are also rusty/dirty scopes and knives, but they are in test and that is why i did not include them. I will update this when i have completed more weapons/elements. Seeing that there was no similar mod here, I decided to share it with all of you. I hope you like it a lot as much as me.
Something that you have to take into account is that in my game I have modified the commands of light and saturation. So weapons surely in your game will not be seen exactly as in my screenshots.

Do you remember the brave shout of the Duty team when preparing for the attack? Well, now it is immortalized in almost all weapons of Duty. There is even a weapon that bears the name of the Captain.
Also all monolithic weapons carry the phrase "йди до мене". (I have realized that in arms I translated the Ukrainian instead of Russian. I will correct it when updated this post)

1) Should I be Duty to be able to see/use Duty weapons? REGARDLESS OF WHICH FACTION YOU BELONG, YOU CAN OBTAIN/BUY, SEE AND HAVE EACH OF THE SKINS. For Example, If you play as Duty You Can Loot/Buy The Skins Freedom. It is subjecting that I have written to make clear, since it may confuse you.
2) Does this change arms settings? No, they are only new textures for weapons.
3) Do you need a new game to work? No, at least in my case. I have made these skins in the middle of my game and I have been adding/removing skins all the time to be able to test them and, nevertheless, my game continues to work perfectly.
4) Will you add new weapons? Of course, just be patient. My idea is to texture all Vanilla weapons. I am even considering making alternatives. Example: In this V1.0, Remington 870 Duty appears, perhaps in upcoming updates provide the Monolith variant. It's a good example.
5) These are new weapons or replace the pre-existing ones? They are replaced.
6) Why is there a polymer oxide? Have you tried to re-texture a .dds? There are some that are basically indistinguishable. I do not have the time to test 700 times in the game the same weapon and try to guess where each part of the DDS is located and repeat the process with the other dozens of weapons that this game has … They are just skins, man. You do not exact me so much realism when the game has 1000 things that are not realistic. I clarify once again that this mod, it is a personal mod that I decided to share with you. This is free. You are not paying it. I hope you understand, Stalker. I will try to correct what I can, but don't expect too much.
7) Why don't you make a gameplay instead of publishing 700 screenshots? If I could, I would have done it, man. But at this time it is not possible.
8) Will you add USA/Russian flags or from another country to weapons? No. The only weapons that will have flags are the military weapons that, I remind you, are Ukrainian, just in the place where the game takes place.

I shouldn't make conflict. They are only arms skins, however, make sure the files are replaced and make a copy of your weapons, obviously.

Very sure. In fact, weapons 5.56 will come in the next update. They will be mercenary weapons and freedom, but I planned to do that SG for Strelok and I will definitely do it.

does this mod configure selling items to trader? i suddenly notice i can't sell anything to any traders including the normal npc in game, its like greyed out.
edit: i reverted to an old save and i was able to sell stuff to all traders.
this mod i think isn't compatible with either BAS or Gamma or both
(tested it with load order, moving it above gamma's updated files where mo2 shows it conflicts still doesnt work). so mid save not advised. also prob need new game, not sure if bas or gamma compatible.
There are no LTX files or weapons configurations in this mod, they are only DDs. The problem had to be something external to this mod.
I don't think a new game is needed. I have started creating these skins in the middle of my game, I have been testing: adding and removing them from the Gamedata all the time, I even added more skins, obviously and my game continues normally regardless of whether I add or eliminate these skins. However, perhaps with Gamma and Bas you are right, since I do not use those mods, although I doubt it because this only replaces the appearance of a gun in the game, nothing more.

Hello friend, I really like your Weapon Textures Mod, and I have a special request, could you make a Rust or Wild version of the Aug A3 Vanilla weapon? What happens is that I am using the AUGmented plugin, which brings a new version of the Aug A3 weapon with a new texture of its own. The problem is that the Aug A3 Vanilla reads this new texture as if it were its own and then the new texture does not match the vanilla weapon leaving it simply Horrible, it would be excellent to be able to create a new texture for the old Vanilla Aug A3 but that does not cause problems with the AUGmented Aug A3, you would have to edit the line of the file that reads the texture for the weapon so there would be no problems and each weapon will have its corresponding texture

Man, that work I think would be even more complex than mod, I doubt to do it. But the names of weapons in the inventory could be corrected in an upcoming update, so they can distinguish them.
tbh. changing the name is much more intrusive than changing the Icon.
To change the icon the hardest part would be to make the icon, which I would make by cutting out a screenshot ingame XD. Then use the Icon overwrite which many icon packs use and create files for that and done.
If you change the name you can do it by DXML... maybe I do not know how to setup this DXML. The only other way is overwriting the files with names for the weapons and this would make for unnecessary conflicts, at least for me because I never read anything else then the stats of a weapon :D

There are the files inside "gamedata\configs\icon_override" it is basically just a file with the item name and icon stats under it. So all you need would be the icon override script and make an "Ico_..." file with the data for the icons :)

1) All the weapons of this mod and its future versions are and will be rusty, dirty or with faction camouflages and always with that wild style.
2) I will not make “real” camouflages of the US or from another country.
3) The text present in weapons will always be in Russian, both the phrases and the names of famous Stalkers. The only thing that will be in English are the factions texts, to be intuitive (although if it were for me, they would also be in Russian. If users ask for it, I will do them in Russian)
4) I do not use Bas and very much for the moment will not support. Vanilla weapons are too many for the work I am doing. I don't want to imagine if I went to Bas XD

I'm playing as a Mercenary, so I was hoping that there would be some weapons (5.56) to have text in English, I mean, the M4 platform originated in the USA, so it would make sense to have phrases in English
However, ill accept your work, however you decide to do it, it's free anyway.
The M4 weapons have not yet textured so maybe I can add some phrases in English, but they will come in the V3.0.
