Russian version of The Apocalypse released news

Я очень рад сообщить, что русская версия мода Apocalypse of Eden теперь доступна!

Перевод, любезно выполненный Игорем “Berry” Щекиным, переводит текст на экране (включая заметки), указатели и субтитры. У нашего мода есть много русских игроков, играющих в него, поэтому я очень рад, что Apocalypse будет доступен для них на их родном языке. Я благодарен Berry за его помощь в переводе.

I’m very happy to be able to announce that a Russian version of The Apocalypse of Eden is now available!

The translation, which was kindly completed by Igor “Berry” Schekin, translates on-screen text (including readable notes), signs and subtitles. There are a lot of Russian mod players, so I’m very glad The Apocalypse will be available to them in their native language. I am grateful to Berry for his help in the translation effort.

On a personal note, I’m glad to see that the mod was well received by so many of you. The mod was something of a risky project – both because I departed from Source gameplay mechanics and because I have never attempted a survival horror game before (though I’ve long wanted to). I’m hoping, at some point soon, to write an in-depth essay on the development of the mod and how I feel the release went.

But for now, I hope everybody reading is keeping well.
