Hmm Makes sence I wonder when they make a Fallout 4 they'll have another war with the Enclave Vs. The Brotherhood of Steel.
The Enclave are still around, people like Arcade Gannon.

The only reason I dont like the BHOS is because they kill and murder for technology across the wastes but I love being a brother in the BHOS because of their armor and guns and lazer rifles etc.
i just 'installed' this but when i try to run it a new window comes up saying
Runtime Error
Program: C:\Program Files\Desura\desura.exe
abnormal program termination
i need help with this.
it's fallout 2, one of greatest games ever, but it's also known for it's instability. It never works out of the box. It starts working decently after community fix pack, but still keeps crashing randomly.
Eh, we can't blame a game for being incompatible when none of this stuff existed back then. I think the travel speed and monster spawn on the over world was tied into your CPU's clock speed! Make's traveling on the world map almost impossible with an x64 quad core without some kind of a patch, I think even the HD patch buggers the UI though.
Might as well set it to run in compatability mode for 95 or ME, run it in 16bit color depth, and turn the resolution back down to 800*600 or 1024*768.
There are some patches out there that fix A LOT of story and NPC stuff that just glitched out of the game though.
Other than that, there is always VMWare lol
Is this point and click role-play?
no.
