I’m a mod author and a fan of role playing games, especially AD&D by Gary Gygax and Call of Cthulhu. Computer games can’t capture the feeling of storytelling between friends, but games such as Ultima Underworld or Fallout (up to New Vegas) can retain some element of role playing choice; modding can also retain the element of creative contribution. I’ve modded several aspects of Skyrim and New Vegas and my experience in modding sums up to this: only mod what you play, treat your users with respect, and be mindful to whom you license your work. You can email me at spam at yandex.com replacing spam with my name.

Yes, you can use it. In fact you can use it without the plugin and without anything other than the base game. It won't be optimal but it will work.

However I can only support you if you're using my mod with its specified requirements. (I do make an exception for TTW players and their own YUP alternative.)

And replace the YUP with what ?

There's no longer a plugin option because it's not an option anymore, it's part of the mod.

As for the fonts, the notification is all I can offer. Making it disappear won't fix the problem. You've got to fix it yourself by following the "Restoring font edits on your Fallout.INI" section in this tutorial: Moddb.com

But do read this please: Moddb.com. Anything other than "A" would be great, and "R" was a good recommendation from a user in the early days of this mod.

BTW, I'm happy to see that users of my mod are increasingly DIYers and TFM readers.

You must be using another mod that does that; mine doesn't.

Thanks! Although I didn't experience the bug myself, it's good to know there's a fix here if I ever do!

It's not caused by this mod.

See the thread here Moddb.com as it contains a link to solve your issue.

I replied to your argument under the question: "Was there a reason why you removed it in the first place? Just curious."

The text being centered without a background is the first experience a player sees when he first runs an unmodded game, both in FO3 and FNV. I believe Bethesda did their best in designing the intro, and I kept this format for subtitles everywhere.

The name tag is slightly moved because I wanted to support different aspect rations. The name in the original game is always right-aligned which is not balanced in very wide monitors.

This usually happens when a popular modding guide starts recommending my mod.

Install WMM first and then allow VUI+ to overwrite WMM. UIO will merge them for you automatically.

But why WMM ? Stewie's Tweaks includes an option to do what WMM does but even better.

I respect your choice and I'm pretty certain my mod works with Vortex. However I can't help you myself since I never used it. But there must be a support forum at Nexusmods where they can offer you some advice.

Only if the item list is huge and there are fixes in mods such as Stewie's mods, New Vegas Heap Replacer, and New Vegas Tick Fix.

Not yet. There should have been a year ago but I can't find the free time required to test my edits. I cannot simply make edits and ship the mod, it's too popular to have new bugs.

No it doesn't change that, and it's compatible with such mods. Check out a relevant option in the settings file.

Show me a screenshot of that PipBoy screen along with a console message that shows your current perception.

Also, be sure you use the original YUP patch for your testing.

Use MO2. They have a pretty good documentation.

This message only shows if you modified your INI files to install fonts using an old method. Unfortunately some mod guides still insist on using this old method. You need to revert those INI edits.

I can't help with Vortex.

Also, it's not a .zip but a .7z.

Does Steam allow you to install mods ? If so, it must provide a function to uninstall them too. If you already tried that, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the MCM.
