Sun shafts were in Halo: Combat evolved and it uses DX8 :P
Just what kind of ******** are you spewing? There is no way to put Crysis (CryEngine)shader into Stalkers X-Ray rendering engine. But if you want sun shafts/"god rays" try out Stalker Max Shaders by Kingo 64.
Alot of effects are based of the games engine itself rather than api. Crysis does everything bar object motion blur in dx9
