A submod for Unification that removes the individual caps for the units in Unification except for heroes.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Removes the individual caps for the normal units that have them(except for Commanders,hopefully).Which means,you can spam as many as you want(better combined with a big army cap increase win condition).
To install,just extract into your Soulstorm folder.Afterwards,run the Unification Unlimited module from the Mod Launcher.
If you have downloaded a previous version, delete the Unification_New_Races_Unlimited folder and module and extract this to the Soulstorm folder. Updated for Unification 6.9.2.
If you want to play in MP:
1.)Oh boy.
2.)All must use the same addon.

I've been trying to mod the mod myself because Imperial Guard and 2 Leman Russ tanks are just stupid, imperial use numbers to win, and when they fail the space marines get a chance haha. Thank you for this. =D

Hey gang, trying to get this to work - I extract to the mind Soul Storm folder but it does not appear in mod manager. Could someone help me determine what I did wrong?
Never mind I figured it out. I extracted the files to my desktop - it created a single file called Unification_Unlimited_V2.5. I then went into the file and copied the 3 files inside into the Soul Storm directory and it now shows correctly in my mod launcher.

How much of the unit cap does this actually remove? I've heard the base mod is rather restricted with like X/20 being the max for infantry normally so what does this do?
It doesn't remove the squad cap for the army you are playing, it removes the cap on how many of certain units you can have. For example, you are usually only allowed 1 relic unit, but this allows you to build as many as you want given the squad cap (i.e. 6 Baneblade tanks for IG with X/20 squad cap).
The base Unification mod has options to change the squad cap from X/20 to X/10, X/30, and x/60 (might be another one I can't remember) in Skirmishes and Campaign. You might find this page useful: Dawn-of-war-unification-mod.fandom.com

Quick question, what was added/changed in the new update (v2.8)?
Version 2.9 has various fixes,re-adds the proper Avatar of Khaine model back and increases the cap for turrets during skirmish.

I noticed that you can't upgrade imperial guard turrets to anything other than the missile ones, after installing your addon. Is this intentional?

Heads up, the Space Marine Assault Squad has N/A in their Weapon Counter that makes them unable to upgrade and equip the new Melta Guns from the recent update. I checked by swapping from and to this mod and the base Unification mod.
I don't know why the Assault Marines are even in there as they aren't even capped. Should be fixed soon.
This mod is seriously unbalanced and unstable. I played with the add-on by the way.

Not sure if anyone else is aware but when I try to load an "Insane" difficulty skirmish up, the game launches the game then immediately crashes using Unification Unlimited. Might be worth checking out! :)

Love the addon. My only issue I'm having at the moment is that I also use the Renegade Guard mod with Uni and it says in the DoW mod manager that the Renegade Guard mod is active with Unlimited, but when I start the game and go to the army painter RG is no where to be seen. Don't really know what the problem is here.
Did you add renegade guard to the unlimited module?
adding it to new races module will only add it to "vanilla" uni.
Also note that renegade guard will not be affected by unlimited module.
They will still have all their caps. Semi-supported is semi-supported.
Getting a message that says Unification Patch Missing, and thus I am unable to use the mod, any ideas?
yes: patch unification to latest (all addons require lates i.e 5.91. "6.0" = typo in 5.90).

I don't know if it's just me, but the mod crashes on startup. The error log says that certain scripts and files are non-existent, but when I go into the Unification Unlimited file, I can find them. Anyone got an answer for me?
- Are you on latest version: 5.91 (not "6.0")?
- If you had unlimited installed before, did you manually delete the old version before installing the new one?
- Did you verify that the base mod was properly installed: does your "unification bugfix" folder look like this?

if you installed correctly then there will be a separate module you launch in modmanager.

2.13 there explains how all addons and all manual installations of mods are done. By far most common mistake is people extracting it to its own folder, second most common is just moving the zip archive into soulstorm and thinking that's it.

Plz, for future version, consider keeping limits on stuff like Avatars and such. A bunch or rangers is ok, but several Avatars and such - non lorefriendly and completely break any remaining balance.
