Kingdoms is the most content-rich expansion ever produced for a Total War game, with four new entire campaigns centered on expanded maps of the British Isles, Teutonic Northern Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
In Medieval II, you were only given a tantalizing glimpse of South America, but in Kingdoms, vast tracts of land in both North and South America have been opened up for you to conquer.
All-new factions from the New World are also now fully playable, including the Aztecs, Apaches, and Mayans.
I have good news, for DA haters, and bad news, for DA lovers:
By order of King Earnur of Gondor, Dol Amroth will return back to being a fiefdom, and obey the Stewards of Gondor, ruling in his name until the return of the king.
(Sorry EmperorOfHell and Galu, but I have to do this.)
Don't fret, Dol Amroth's generals are now part of the family tree of the Stewards. The House of Imrazor and the House of Hurin are interconnected via marriage of their sisters (Angelimir married to Steward Turgon's sister, and Denethor and Imrahil exchanging sisters via marriage); also, Dol Amroth's roster and script mechanics (like the last stand mechanic) is now under Gondorian control.
Similar to the Minas Tirith doomstack mechanic, if anyone dared to capture Dol Amroth, get ready for a nasty surprise, as the Black Numenoreans found out.
Gondor will not allow them to get away with that transgression without a fight!
With that in mind, be wary of naval invasions by these Black Numenoreans, Haradrim, and Khand, and pray to the Valar that the Blue Wizards convinced the Khan of Khand to backstab Sauron.
Stay tuned for more updates.
