Installation:
Copy - paste the contents of the "Mod" folder to the Call of Pripyat folder.
Works with the Steam version.
!VERY IMPORTANT! The mod was created and tested on static lighting only so you may experience crashes on anything else.
About:
You'll be playing as a rookie stalker nicknamed "Scyth" who enters the Zone for the first time to seek his fortune. Arriving at Zaton, Scyth will try to learn how to be a stalker with the help of Beard and others and discover some secrets lost to time.

I did a fresh install of CoP. (set gamedata to TRUE)
Dropped in the folders.
Started the game, got the menu screen.
But it locked early during the new game load.
[error]Line : 502
[error]Description : <no expression>
[error]Arguments : Can't open section 'zat_skadovsk_seif_key_1'.
Don't touch the gamedata. The game only works on static lighting.
Changing back to FALSE didnt make any difference.
Game was already set to static lighting.
Getting the same error (see above)
Weird thing is theres an entry in the items.ltx file (line 3454)
that clearly lists it.
At a loss as to whats going on. Running Win11, maybe thats it...
why cant i compare item's spec in inventory? did i install this mod wrong?
You didn't install it wrong.
It's intentional.

Fantastic mod, playing it right now. Though i noticed some bugs: Outfit properties doesn't show up and some guns are just too powerful, for example, I could shoot a boar with 1 shot from Beretta pistol and their ragdolls get pushed as if it were shot by shotgun. Other than that, it's great mod, nice story so far, and excellent translation as always. Really like the blend between adding new features like dropping mutant parts and keeping it within the stalker vanilla atmosphere.
Exploration is rewarded in this mod. There are stashes scattered everywhere, mostly places high-up. Here are some examples:
