Hey everyone,
Time flies, a lot changes in a decade.
I haven't re-played Underhell since 2015, I've been meaning to replay it and I've been meaning to post an article on here in a long time. With the 10 year anniversary approaching I thought: why not do both?
I will be playing through and streaming Prologue and Chapter 1 on September 1, 2023, I intend to casually answer some questions during the stream as long as I have a decent answer.
If anyone from the development team who wants to drop by and say hi, let me know and I'll get you in a call during the stream.
Last but not least I want to thank everyone who has been a fan of the game and who has played it. I may not have played the game myself in a while but I have watched countless playthroughs and it's made me very happy to watch people play the game.

If someone still playing this mod and don't want to get crashes with "lump error", here's what I did to fix this - just downloaded "4GB Patch", patched the executable (hl2.exe) in Source SDK Base 2007 folder and there you go. Just completed the full walkthrough and had only one crash with no error. Also, if you want your inventory displaying correctly in 4K and 2K resolutions, go to "sourcemods\Underhell\resource\ui", open inventorypanel.res with your notepad and change "wide" and "tall" values to 4096 and 2048 respectively. Hope it'll help ;)

what was the command for removing filmgrain again? I once saw a post about it but seems like it is gone.
edit: and ofc I found the command myself after posting this: r_uh_filmgrain 0
Someone help me solve this error. When the training is over and I get in the truck, the game crashes and I get an error window that doesn't say anything. By the way, I'm running it on Windows 10.
anybody else getting crashes on win11? Had 1 after the "welcome to Underhell" cutscene. Had another one during the "shut down the generators" mission. Can't find a dang error log on this thing. 1st crash said lump sum error; then some huge number. 2nd crash said something about a lump. Still the best HL2 mod imo

Do any of you guys know how to fix this can't load lump problem ? The error appears immediately after finishing the training, and it doesn't matter whether I finish it right away or go through the whole process.
Duuuude. What OS u running? I'm trying it out on windows 11 and got 2 crashes already. Lump stuff. I'm getting sick of ol' nanny Gates
Honestly 10/10 Wonderful Mod made me cry, i know this been out for years and we dont rlly know if we'd get a chhapter two but i hope you`re doing great! this mod also really helped me just also get through a rough time, thank you for making this mod really.
