It does crash randomly. Sometimes on going to the menu (ESC button), sometimes on speaking with someone, after changing graphic settings, or when simply walking through the Zone.
Long story short: it's unplayable.

Второй квест у Сидоровича сломан (принести артефакты).
При добыче артефактов из первой аномалии их невозможно отдать, продать, выбросить, даже невозможно сложить в ящик. Они просто убивают персонажа радиацией, причем весьма быстро.
Все патчи установлены.

Sounds like a marketing ********. What is the point to rewriting 90% of the engine, instead of creating these r own from scratch? Especially I’d Software’s engine - one of the best engines there and more optimized than Unreal Engine.

Most likely they tried to add Direct3D (for some ****'s sake), as well as add support for proprietary formats within their company, like 3D models and sounds.
Moreover, none of the Project Managers would have given so much time and money from investors to rewrite the engine for 90%, otherwise this project would have been closed long ago.
Ok, tested yesterday all the pistols, shotguns and SMGs - all working without sound issues. Check your installation again.

At the most what's possible, they would call him an ******* and stop going on missions with him, but shooting is too much.
Alternatively, it could depend on the faction, for example the bandits could shoot their man for such a thing.
But as a whole, it's not even close to realistic.

What is the purpose of copying absolutely the same game on an lder engine?
Shotguns with such a high damage and narrow spread pattern are too OP now. Basically you can play entire game with SSG only. Balance is broken.
Also I don't like that gibbing was disabled for weak monsters.
