Great textures, but it makes Q3DM4 crash for me in ioquake3.
It works in Quake3e, though. Weird.
thank the machine, did you add "+set com_zoneMegs 48" to your command line? (not in the cfg!) if so, have you tried to increase it? maybe try 128. or try an other upscale mod and see if this crashes as well Moddb.com
or maybe try to also add +set com_hunkMegs 192

Thanks, I tried that but the crash still occours. Maybe it's just me, because I'm using Intel integrated graphics.
It's fine though, I actually prefer Quake3e because ioquake3 is also giving me some strange mouse stutter issues.
yeah i wouldn't be surprised if it's the integrated graphics. owell at least it looks like the next generation of integrated graphics should be better for gaming xD
guess i should check out Quake3e...

How do you install this on the Steam version? I can't see anywhere to set the command line parameter. I tried creating a desktop shortcut and adding it to that but it just casued Quake 3 to immediately crash on a white screen.
its described here under "set launch options" Support.steampowered.com
if set you can just start it with steam.
