The Old Realms is a fan made mod project for the game Mount & Blade: Bannerlord. This project is 100% unofficial and in no way endorsed by Games Workshop. We do not accept donations nor do we receive any money from this project.
We have our very first stability patch out!
This is the first step towards bringing a more stable experience and we look forward to seeing what you guys think.
Installation Instructions: Installation is the same as for the original download, you need to delete all of our old modules and unzip the new download into your Bannerlord modules folder. If you have any questions don't hesitate to head to our general feedback channel.
Please make sure your Bannerlord is on version 1.6.2 (the current live version of Bannerlord) as our mod has now been updated for this new patch. A big thank you to everyone who helped test the game and provided feedback, its helped us tremendously. We are incredibly grateful for our community and look forward to bringing more of the Warhammer world into Bannerlord for you to play with!

- Fixed rare crash in battles related to spellcasting AI
- Fixed crashes when entering keep battles
- Fixes to overland campaign map crashes
- Fixed rare crash after certain battles with the post battle raise dead scenario
Optimizations:
- Enabled texture compression for terrain textures, reducing GPU vRAM usage by ~2,5 GB
Fixes:
- Added spellcasting to the vampire starting option in addition to the necromancer one
- Fixed automatic 20 skeleton raise dead for player when entering towns
- Fixed summoned skeletons reducing the amount of "normal" skeletons after battle
- Minor fixes to dismemberment
- Fixed hitbox of grave guard sword
- Reduced the amount of outlaw parties

1. Ensure your Bannerlord is on the current live version, 1.6.2. If you need to
upgrade/downgrade your Bannerlord to the correct version, do the following:
o Select Mount and Blade II via Steam, right click, “Properties”
o Ensure your Bannerlord is on version 1.6.2/you are opted out of any betas
2. Download and extract the zip archive into your Bannerlord Modules/ folder just as you
would with any other mod.
3. Please ensure you have Bannerlord Harmony installed as well. It is required.

4. When launching the game, use the following load order:
o Harmony
o Prenative
o **Taleworld’s Modules**
o ArmoryAssets
o EnvironmentAssets
o CoreAssets
o Core
Mechanics:
Being a Vampire:
- To be a Vampire you must choose the ‘Vampire Nobility’ option during character creation as
your final choice. The Vampire base mesh will be visible only once you have loaded into the
game
Magic & Prayers:
- To have access to magic you must choose the Necromancer, Vampire Nobility or Bright
Wizard option during character creation, otherwise you will not have access for the duration
of your campaign.
- For access to prayers you must choose the Warrior Priest Acolyte or you will not have access
to prayers for the duration of your campaign.
To use abilities/battle magic: (No campaign magic yet)
- During battle pressing Q puts you into aiming mode, a reticule will appear and you will be
able to target your spells.
- Using the mouse wheel will switch between your spells (if you have learned multiple)
- New UI elements will appear on the bottom left of your screen, with an image representing
your selected spell and a cooldown timer
- Spells are reliant on the users Winds of Magic (mana), this is fairly self-explanatory. It is
regained over time in battle and on the campaign map.
Necromancy:
- To summon/recruit units through Necromancy you must choose the Vampiric Nobility or
Necromancer options during character creation. This will allow you to recruit undead units
from the new graveyard location within settlements as well as post-battle.

hello good, I have a problem, when I play and I have a couple of battles, then it does not load any more.
It starts to load but no matter how long it goes by, it does nothing.
NEW
Added a "Build Shader Cache" main menu option.
This should let the game build up the shader cache so the long loading times is before hand, and not when u enter a battle
u need to wait longtime, for me it's 1 hour
seriously waiting an hour for the battle to start? now i'm depressed
theres a solution for this you have to go custom battle then click all the soldier assets to load so that when you start a campaign the waiting time decrease

Crashes right when it loads the imperial general loading screen any help crash with core assets unlocked all the dlls and now it just crashes with no msg

I try again loading the mod. I finally succeded.
I crash with a quest with deserter when I try to speak to the quest giver.
I preload the shader to bypass this.
I still have the problem. I can't enter the village of julbach. I thing that is a bug of the mod

I face a similar issue. The report reads:
Cannot load:
..\..\Modules\TOW_PreNative\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\TOW_PreNative.dll
The modules are being loaded in the order detailed in the information
