My second Doom map, this one without relying on custom assets to make it look nice. As a self imposed challenge, everything on this level is part of the default Doom and Doom 2 games.
Another thing I wanted to do is to create a compelling map with several levels and vertical gameplay, and keep experimenting with the many options Doom offers to create different combat scenarios.

Extreme lag with this and i have an rtx 3060?
If you're not using a clean install of GZDoom I would recommend that as I get lag too on installs that are modded or where I've messed with settings.
I've been making it on a 3070 so the difference shouldn't be too big frame-wise and it runs fine for me, even though it's a bit at the limit in one particular room toward the end.
